Nice hotel, nothing to complain about except perhaps the breakfast which could've been a bit more varied. Overall though a nice hotel that's pleasant to stay in. Should point out I came in winter when a single room is 40€/night - in summer it may be much more.
Very good hotel! though its very close to the train station, you dont hear anything at night. you can hop on the tourist bus a few metres away and you can also reach everything easily by foot. clean room and friendly staff! totally recommend it!
A very cozy place to stay in Genoa. The room was wide and clean, though they lacked a renovation which was undergoing right then on the lower floors. The train station is very close which makes the hotel easy to access while on the other hand it makes the hotel quite noisy but one get used to it in one or two days. The staff was very friendly and helpful too which made our stay there most comfortable.
Located right near the station on a hill, but it is not hard to reach. Views from the top floor public balcony are great. My single room and much of the hotel is dated. But the aircon worked a treat. Staff were always helpful. Breakfast was not too bad, just remember you are in Italy where reakfast is normally a sugared pastry with an espresso.
Great location. Immediately after stepping out of the train station, turn left and walk up the stone steps. The hotel is right in front of you. Old building but renovated. Clean. Good security. Walking distance to old port.
Excellent location right in front of Piazza principe. Very friendly staff and great rooms and bathrooms
We liked our stay at this hotel. Only few negative aspects: breakfast without caracter, no cooking facilities (it isn't a hostel).
next to train station but all the way up a huge hill..heat was turned off at night so it was freezing...shower super tiny, clean place but rude staff, breakfast was horrible besides the croissants,, and so noisy!!!! ... you could hear all the trains passing by all night
Excellent hotel to stay in Genova year after year. I've been in this hotel for three times in three sequential years and will enjoy of their hospitality in the future as well. Not much activities at the hotel but a comfortable, secure and a bit retro-ish home away from home.
Good location, very close to station which is good when carying heavy bags. Staff incredibly helpful and very friendly, inclusion of breakfast great bonus. Old building but does the job, the staff make up for the 80s decor.
The room had a window to a corridor so there was very few natural light, the carpeting was really dirty and smelled badly, cleanliness wasn't very good in general. Of course we left the hostel a looked for anoter one.
Everything you would expect from a budget hotel. A nice break from the hostels. Would come here again.
Great location by the train station and just a short walk to the marina and city centre. Nice size rooms and friendly helpful staff.
It is really what you would expect. A standard hotel. Clean, good staff, right next to the Train Station which is a big bonus. I would stay here again if i was back in Genoa.
The hotel is actually on top of the train station, so bring your ear-plugs. A lot of noise from the trains. Otherwise it is a perfect location, 1 min from the train station and 10 min from the old city.
right outside the station, great staff, very helpful, great restaurant recommendation of osteria via palla
