Great staff, very informative. The location is a little out of town, but the hotel is awesome and very clean and secure. Definitely a great stay for what you pay!

Overall the hostel is good, but the location is not cool. The directions don't say we had to look for the black number (numbers in Firenze are red and black, so in the same street you have two buildings with the same number). The building and elevator are in poor conditions, but at least they have one. The ten minutes walk may be valid for a giant, but we had to walk for about 30 minutes with our luggage to find the hostel, please correct the directions!

Loved this hotel. I felt safe walking around the hotel and in the hotel. Our room was large with a TV and they upgraded us to a private bathroom as well. Seriously great for the price.

Great value hotel that's clean and safe. However location is on the outskirts of the town and requires up to 40-50mins of walking from the the furthest attractions. Despite this there is decent access to public transport to get around. Also note the wi-fi is not free by default. We were lucky and got free wi-fi during our stay as a bonus which was much appreciated. Being a 2-star hotel there isn't much of an atmosphere if you are into that.

Kind Mr Tay. I want to report your review as an absolutely fake experience. First of all our wi-fi is free of charge. We have 20 access points all over the structure and this was a pay facility until 2 weeks ago. I have recently setted it like a free facility and even people who have booked the hotel when just the common area was free are using free wi-fi in their rooms. then you complain but you write that we gave it to you for free. Be happy man ! 2- 40-50 minutes? you must have been somewherelse guys! we are only 12 minutes walk to the cathedral

The distance from train station to the hotel is more than 10 minutes' walk.

This was a wonderful find, especially considering the excellently low price! Our room was spacious, clean, and attractive, with a nice bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's a little bit of a hike from the bus station, but certainly manageable. My friends and I were not very experienced travelers and do not speak much Italian, but we felt like we were in very good hands. Highly recommended.

Really nice and helpful staff tell you exactly where to go for anything you could need or want, prime location. Nice rooms with huge TV and cable if your into that. skip breakfast there as it is five euros a person and very underwhelming.

\" Soggiorno ideale ad un prezzo davvero contenuto. La camera era accogliente e provvista di pay-tv. Ho pagato davvero poco per il servizio ricevuto. Grazie ad Andrea per i consigli sui ristoranti ! \"

The room and bathroom were super small which made it a little uncomfortable, but the lounge was nice and comfortable, with wifi. The breakfast room was also pleasant. Not very central though, and there isn't anything that interesting near the hotel, but it's still walkable to the train station. The staff was really nice. If I had to change anything it would just be the size of the room and bathroom.

thanks for writing your review and for the nice words for our staff. About the bathroom you could have mentioned that is was a present that we offered you without any extra charge. In fact the room that you have booked was a "shared bathroom" but we actually gave you a room with a private ensuite toilet and shower. About interesting things near the hotel we are located at 5 minutes walk...300 meters to the "Academy" where you could have found the David of Michelangelo.

located an average walk from restaurants and sites, but enjoyable on a sunny day, not so much when its raining. Leave 20-30min to walk from/to the train station with bags. Extremely friendly and helpful staff members. Wi-fi in common area.

Thanks for writing a review for Hotel Benvneuti. I can't hide i am not happy about it. First of all because you should mention that a room with private ensuite bathroom has been given to you at the same price of the room ( with shared facilities ) that you actually booked. About restaurants around the hotel what you write is simply away from the truth. There are ( and we are used to suggest many to all the people that ask to us ) many excellent places near the hotel. Of course the touristy pizzerias in the duomo square are at 12 minutes walk from us. I think you haven't asked what we could have easily suggested. From the station we are at 20 minutes walk because our location is actually nearer to the historical center. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes to the station in 5 minutes. thanks

i was un-nerved leaving my key with the staff as I left. The directions from the main train station were not accurate or up to date and thus we were forced to take a taxi.

Hello i don't exactly know what you mean with "un-nerved" . In Hotels keys must be left for several reasons at the reception. If you did not feel confident with our staff this makes me sad. We are 24 hours open , our staff is always awake and up. If you feel more confident and safe keeping the key with yourself while you visit the town and come back in an hostel were nobody is working this is your opinion. Our guys work hard all day and night and i'm proud of their job like many other guests. I guess that the real problem is that the owner ( me ) was angry with you because you have been loud at night and 2 rooms left in advance at 3 pm in the night .

Located around 20 - 25 min from the train station, it is a very good option to explore Florence. Near by the restaurant Zaza ( a great restaurant).
