Definitely worth recommending! This hostel is only ten minutes of walking from the main tourist attractons. 24 hour reception staff offers every possible assistance ( they let me use their own hostel internet and their printer in the middle of the night). Rooms are large and absolute cleanliness is guaranteed. Last but not least, it is a good value for money. If I manage to visit Florence again, I'm going to stay there one more time.

The staff was really helpful. Some of beds were not comfortable and the lightening of the room was poor (especially during the cloudy weather and evening). However, we appreciated the heating of the room whereas during our stay there was cold weather.

The location is very poor. The hotel lighting was dim on the hallway and in the bathroom.

Only 10 minute walk from the City center. Great place to stay if you visit Florence. Clean rooms, nice helpful staff great security. Only slight problem is that the rooms are so big that they echo so if you want to share some private moments with your man/woman don't be very loud ;) All in all I certainly propose this hotel!

THE ROOM IS VERY GREAT! AND THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE PRICE IS ALSO GREAT. EXCEPT THE LOCATION IS A LITTLE FAR FROM TRAIN STATION. BUT ONCE U FAMILIAR WITH THE BUS (TAKE NO.1) WILL BE VERY EASY TO GET TO!

This is clean, friendly hotel/hostel with great facilities and a good location in the city. We stayed in a private room with a double bed which was nice, if unspectacular. Our only complaints were minor; the shower cubicle was tiny, the radiator couldn't be turned controlled (there was A/C though) and one of the bedside lights didn't work. But these were overcome by the staff (they were helpful and even let us bring outside beer in) and the good quality of the room (full Sky TV with sports)!

Nice place and helpful staff, 15min walk from the train station and next to the historical center. Single-glazed windows, a bit surprising in the morning, though the traffic is limited to taxis and buses...

It's nothing special, but it's nothing bad either. Very nice place to stay in Florence. Clean and safe - what more could one ask for? They have breakfast in the morning for a charge, but the spread is large and hard to resist.

Strongly recommend this hotel! Staff was so nice, room was clean with free wifi(it has time limit but there are several accounts provided), and waliking distance to museums. Heater worked greatly. It's little bit far from train station, though, if you choose to follow Viale Spartaco Lavagnini instead streets which g**gle map recommends it's much easier to walk. Considering its cheap price and everything, Hotel Benvenuti was greatest hotel to stay.

The wi-fi has a time limited, it's a little inconvenient. No breakfast, can't lock the door in the room. Anyway, it's cheap, it's very nice for our students.

This hotel is not good option in Florence. It is not the center of the city,10minutes walk to Duomo 20-25 minutes walk to PuntoVecchio. Also I had some problems with the receptionists and booking. The people are not kind while comparing with others. If you want to just stay in Florence,it is okay but for a journey not a good option. It is clean and atmosphere is better but for a traveler these are not so important.I told you that,be careful while booking in this hotel, they are a little confusing.

Owner Comment (Show)
Kind Sir. You arrived alone having booked a room for 5 people. You complained of the website that was not clear when everybody seems to understand it. In any case you took the room. The day after you have decided to remain one night more, taking a single. Now if this was not a good option we don't get why you've even decided to remain. Suffer is no good !!! Be happy !

The hotel was wonderful and a great stay! The staff was really nice and went out of their way to help us find places to go, eat, and even came to ask us if we wanted extra blankets when we asked how the heater worked. I would highly recommed this hotel!

About 25 mins walk from main train station. All attraction are within walking distance. Extremely cosy and nice with cheap and affordable price. One of the best place I ever stayed in .

After seeing the pictures online the hotel room itself was a little disappointing, however the room did have a large flat screen TV. We reserved a private bathroom, and I have to say it was less than great. It was down the hall, and it was extremely cold, dingy and very noisy during the day from construction work going on. Despite this the hotel staff were VERY FRIENDLY! They were fantastic for recommending restaurants, bars, clubs and everything in the area.

The staff were friendly. The location was walking distance from the train station and right across the street from the bus stop which was ideal. However, the water in our shower was lukewarm at best which devalued our stay.
