The hotel was right outside the train station which was very easy for jumping off the TGV from Paris. The twin room was small with a few rough edges but the bathroom was very clean and looked newly refurbished. Previous comments about the area being "sketchy" at night are largely unfounded. A good place to stay all in all but as for Lyon more generally, sadly quite dull.

PRO: Super close to bus and tram stops and train station. So convenient. Cozy little room with good facilities. Great shower. Good selection of cereals, fruits, cheeses and breads for breakfast. Helpful and accommodating staff. Quiet hotel with little noise from any other guests. CON: Not much cons. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but as mentioned above, it was good and plentiful. Even the heat at maximum setting took a while to heat the room.
