The location may be a little bit scary at the begining, but when you start to have a walk around you realise that you're really close to the center, and all the interesting things are at a walkable distance. The hall and the front desk are very nice, but we were very disapointed by the room, who was stinking cold cigarette(even if you were supposed to have a non smoking room) and we eared everything was happening in the other rooms...But for just one night it was ok. Other bad point: no breakfast..
More like somebody's apartment than a hostel. If you're cool with that then it's great -- fantastic location. But I wanted more privacy. Also, incredibly noisy building. I woke up every time I heard the front door open and could hear every conversation from the hallway.
bathroom was clean, the thicker blanket was full with other people's hair, ugh!
Room &en-suite were clean, comfortable & well equipped. V friendly staff. free internet access on computer near reception (handy if you're not travelling with electronic equipment). Generally quiet & I slept really well. (The room doors should be improved -many people just slam them shut as there are no handles)Pity there's no breakfast as there are no nice cafés in the immediate vicinity. Not the nicest neighbourhood but ok & in 2 mins you are over the bridge in lovely central Bilbao. Good :-)
A little out of the way and not in the best of districts. but a good base to discover Bilbao. Has a secure parking
Bilbi is in the best bit of town - near enough to walk to everything and surrounded by great bars etc. It's in the less posh bit of the city which is far more interesting and diverse. It's super-cheap and for a 2-star we thought it was great.

not an hostel but an hotel, so not funny atmosphere and activities at all, but absolutely comfortable! we were in a double bed room on the top floor, with even a great private terrace... clean, good position!
A good hotel, i would recommend it. It's close to the old town, the staff is friendly and the wifi was good. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel.
Stayed in a single room. Room nice, clean, big enough and quiet. Good shower and bathroom. No breakfast served, but nice bar with tapas and coffee just around the corner. Good location, just a short walk and crossing one bridge to get to the old town and the next tram-station. The tram will take you to the Guggenheim in just a few minutes. Great value for money and a perfect location to explore the sights.
didn't realise that this was actually a hotel! it was nice to stay with some privacy, we had a double room with our own bathroom etc. If you're looking for a social hostel this is not the place but it was so nice! Helpful staff and everything easy.
Our room was very nice, especially considering the price. The neighbourhood is a bit shady, but it's 100m from the bridge into the old town, so as long as you walk into that direction and not the other one, you never notice this. The staff was helpful too. The hotel offers parking spaces for a fee, but we had no problem finding a free space (at no cost) in the same street.
Only stayed one night between flights but no complaints.
This is a great place to stay on a budget. Very helpful staff who were willing to show us the best places to see in Bilbao. Would have liked independent cooking facilities but otherwise an awesome place.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff are so helpful and the friendliest we have come across. They were incredible. Excellent Value for money! Highly recommended.
Staff was super helpful/very nice. I would definitely use this hotel again if returning to Bilbao.

We only spend one night in Bilbao, and the hotel was perfect for us: great location, clean, good service. Would recommend it to anyone doing a sightseeing trip to Bilbao
Big room with terrace, located directly outside of the old town. Nice and helpful staff, the hotel made a clean appearance. Our room was strangely hot, even though we had under 20° outside. After leaving the air condition for a night, in the morning we discovered that it was blowing hot air, so that we didn't have a very pleasant sleep. Also, usually, in places with no breakfast included, I'd expect the opportunity to at least buy sth (apart from a vending machine), which was not the case there.
The neighborhood was scary. Though it is right opposite to the old town. The room was very basic, lobby very basic. Grey. A room to sleep. Have TV. Store downstairs. The staff were helpful and polite and let us checked in at 10pm.
