Not very inviting from the outside, entrance area and breakfast room very nice and modern, but room seemed rather old and simple. Is probably nicer in the summer with more guests. But overall it was a place to stay where we needed it with a fair price! I must say that I wasn't really satisfied with my stay. The staff was friendly and the breakfast very good, but the room doesn't fit the price tag. I paid more for this than e. g. the Fosshotel in Husavik or the Hilton in Reykjavik. I stayed in over 10 different ho(s)tels of different categories (let's say 2-star to 4-star) all over Iceland. Sorry, but from my experience, this was the most overpriced of all stays. That's why I can't recommend this place.I must say that I wasn't really satisfied with my stay. We're really doubtfull about the quality of the water, there's probably a lot more sulphure in it than anywhere else, i've got a silver necklace that's totally ruined now after maybe 10 minutes in the shower with it when there wasn't any problem anywhere else we've been in Iceland.
