The bare floors in the hallways were a bit like a construction site, but to be honest, didn't really make any difference. Outside shower and toilet were interesting, but understandably cheaper and part of the fun of travel.

This was a rip off. The reviews we read made us think it had already been renovated but all of the floors and walls were still stripped bare. The room was dirty, incredibly tiny and though called a 'triple' this consisted of a camp bed shoved in the corner which meant you couldn't actually get through the room. By far the worst room we've had, including hostels. This cannot call itself a hotel.

The hostel has a great location and based on it to justify the poor service and poor accommodation.

I found the hostel quite characteristic, with it's water running through the pipes, the tiny toilet, the one shower, and with the breakfast being served to you rather than a buffet, as is normal. I loved the location, being Montmartre, as it is a cozy, quaint part of the city. I will choose the same area next time I go. I also thought they kept the place clean, sheets and towels were nice. I liked the hotel, but you get what you pay for.

It is in an excellent neighborhood, which made such a difference to our stay. The rooms are small for three people, but also more affordable. The people were kind. I will stay there again if I get the chance.

Too much noise in the room, because the shared bathrooms were really close. So every time someone would go in, the noise in the room was terrible.

I enjoyed the stay in the hostel but when I was there they reovated the whole building and the corridors have been very dirty. But I think if it is ready it will look very cute. What I really diliked was the "bathroom" I payed for and it was only a very little shower next to the bed, in what there has not even been warm water. But I liked the breakfast, it was not much but jummy.

Since there was construction going on we shouldn't have had to pay so much, and the sheets were never changed.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect for walking around and really feeling the city. I also think that value for money was great, and once all the renovation are done I think it will be a really classy looking place the dinning area already looked great.

They are still working on improving the hostel, so when we were there they were painting. We thought that the amount of toilets on the low side was, but the nice feature they added was the breakfast room, improving contact with others. The people were nice, and friendly and helpful.

Very noisy, it seemed the toilet was in my room. You could hear everything from everyone in the entire hotel. They were renovating the hallway and painting the walls bright red, without a warning beforehand (causing me to get paint on my shoes, while trying to keep the door open). Everything smelled of paint and it was very dusty.

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights and we found the Hotel really ok, mostly for the great location and the very nice lady at the front desk. Our room was a std double bed private ensuite. The hotel is being renovated, and that was the only inconvenience for us. They served a simple breakfast in the mornings, good enough. The hotel is really close to the metro and also there are many places to eat. We recomend the hotel as a good option to stay in Paris.

We didn't have any problems with the check-in because there was someone in my group that spoke French. It's not like anounced, they don't speak a word of English. The room was perfecly clean, but be aware that en-suite is only a small shower in a corner, no toilet. They only give 1 shower towel even if you have booked a double room. The walls seem made out of paper and you can hear everything. The wireless service does not work if you are above the second floor, that was our case.
