I can\'t recommend hotel Brivio to anyone. We payed 50 euros for one painful night. The room smelled really bad, like mold and cigarettes. There was no heating so we could not sleep at all because it was so cold! Seriously freezing. I think the temperature outside was warmer in the night than in our room. Also we heard all the noises from outside and other rooms crystal clear. Do not go there if you want to rest! For 50 euros you can get so much better accommodation with decent facilities etc.

When me and my friend arrived in the "hotel", we were thinking that we would be really in a hotel, but it must not be called like it, because there is no estructure enough. There was a dog that was in the entrance hall, and we don´t like dogs..so, since the beginning it was a surprise. The bedrooms don`t have heater, and it was a bit cold. Thw worst thing was the bathroom, that "floods", because the drain in the shower didn´t work.

Good location, right next to a subway station and easy to get everywhere. Friendly staff. Nice rooms but not really authentic Italian if that's what you are looking for. Not so much a place to party and meet people, more just a place to sleep. Beds were quite hard and not very comfortable. But for the price it was definitely very good.

Dergano Hostel and Hotel Brivio are the same place! We booked for Hotel Brivio and we were put in a room that said "hostel". Brivio was more expensive. We had booked a different night at Dergano but when confronting the staff about the place being the same, they pretended that they didn't understand what we were talking about. We cancelled the rest of the nights. If we hadn't felt cheated, the room would've been ok. However, it was very cold inside the room and the reception was fully heated.
