This was a good hotel. Staff were polite, but the Wi-Fi didn't work for part of the time. I have very few complaints about the place, and it was in a better location than what it appeared on a map. We were really happy with our stay here.

Good location, close to the Museum Plein. Great staff, expecially Hugo, that also speaks portuguese (he's portuguese). There's a bakery just a few meters from the hotel in which you can have breakfest if you don'r wanna pay 7,50 for the one they offer. The staff gave us great tips about where we could park our car - what is difficult in amsterdam. All clean and confortable! Recomend the place definitely!! Thanks!

Lukewarm impression. The man working the night is very kind, knowledgeable and understanding. The other staff members were incredibly aloof, unhelpful, somewhat impolite and even borderline unprofessional. I can't believe they have a job in hospitality. One example: when I called (2x) the hotel for directions from the train station, no one answered my call! The hotel is not extremely close to the train station, and finding it on my own with my heavy bags was not quick or fun. Nice facilities.

The hostel is located near museumplein. It is really not that far from the attractions since Amsterdam is quite small. You can walk to the attractions without any problem. I walked to the dam square in around 30 mins. Alternatively, you can ride tram 5 or 24 tram just out of the hotel. Connection to Schiphol is easy to find too. You can ride bus 197 next to Concertgebouw, just at the museumplein too. Just 30 mins to Schiphol. It is like hotel with affordable price, more than crowded hostel.

This is a very nice and friendly hotel in a quite area near to the city centre. The room is OK, not big but not too small, we had a common balcony with the neighbours as well. The bathroom is clean and seems to be quiet new. Only the carpet could be cleaner but if you use flip-flops, it's OK. The bed is very funny, we had a double bed room, but there were 2 separate beds and in the morning we woke up with some distance :) anyways: We would definately go back.

We had a lovely double en-suite room with a tv (comedy central with Dutch adverts is definitely a novelty). We got massively lost trying to get there but then discovered that if we went to the museum square and went from there it was much easier, teaches us for trying to take a short cut. Also an amazing bakery around the corner for morning coffees and pastries. Staff friendly and obliging, and the bed was so comfy I didn't want to leave it.

The hotel was basic and clean, and just what we needed for our stay in Amsterdam. Staff recommendations for restaurants, etc. tended to be pretty touristy and not really what we were looking for. Tram noise that others complained about wasn't an issue for us.
