I really liked this hotel, only a bit out from the centre, but it didn't bother me. Clean, nice pool, friendly stuff. I recommend Bulan Baru Hotel to everyone. The food was overpriced and very bad. The pool was empty in the whole time, with no apology. On the plus there is a beautiful empty strech of beach very close, great for sunsets, but not enough for us to happy overall. Would suggest staying closer to town, where there is good food cheaper and without the need for a fifteen minute taxi ride. The food was overpriced and very bad. In spite of a distance of 7 km to Senggigi is the location splendid due to the fact, that a taxi cost 2½$. The price for a beautiful well maintained room incl. continental breakfast is a bargain. In the beautiful old garden I had 3 meters to the pool from my terrace. Bulan Baru is quiet with no children and have guests with a very nice behaviour. For fun, you will have to step into the pool by mistake. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I look forward to come back to Lombok. Peaceful place, 8km / 20 000 rupiah taxi drive from Senggigi. Good place for relaxing, but bit far from everything.
