The hotel was not so far from the center city in Milan. We can take the metro that is 10-minutes walk from there. Moreover, there were many free parking (after 20h00) in front of the hotel. So, it was very easy and comfortable for us. The rooms was quite large and clean. The television was included in the room . so we can enjoy the final match (Bayern-Chelsea) from our room ..GOOD ONE! However, the TV in another room was broken! and there was no hair-dryer as they recommended! Overall very good!

A decent place to stay in a more or less central location for a relatively low price. But stuff like towel, soap etc. was not included in the room price and one has to pay extra for using those. But still is a good value for money. I would recommend this place to those who just has one or two nights to stay and will not be spending a lot of time in their hotel room.

The place was pretty decent. Basic and straightforwrd. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in for the next few days,Hotel Ca Grande offers tat. I was in milan for 48hours for a short City break and needed a cheap place to stay in just for sleep and shower. Location was good too, about a few minutes walk to the station (Loreto). If you're lazy theres a bus stop nearby that can take you to the station for 5 minutes or less. Beware though, there's a €10 charge per day for usage of air cond.

My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. The minute we walked in the door, we were greeted with hostility from the receptionist. The room was a smoking room and smelled like stale cigarettes and the bathroom was down the hall. I have stayed at hostels better than this HOTEL. I would give it -2 stars. I would never stay here again, and I do not recommend that anybody does.

The room was very basic, but very affordable so can't really complain there! It's about 10 mins walk (or maybe longer with luggage) from the Central Station, so it's a good place to base yourself and easy to get around from.

Nice and cheap hotel. 15minutes walking from Loreto metro station. There were a supermarket and laundry near the hotel. The staffs are kind. Connection of Wi-fi was so strong, that made me really happy. the quality of the room was equal to the price; a little bit old but not dirty.

Staff was generally unpleasant and unresponsive to questions, the entire experience was a forgettable experience.

Overall was quite cold in my room and I ended up in a smoking room, but otherwise the hotel just perfectly suited my needs. (Relatively) close to highway exits and metro station so I could just drop in and quickly take the metro to reach my destination.

We were supposed to have "room with bathroom", but what we acctually had was a small room with bed in one corner and bidet with sink in another. We had unfortunately tried a 5 euro breakfast which they're serving there- it was very small, with only dry, cold toasts and crossaints + jam and some kind of nutella. No ham, no cheese, no tomato or cucumber. (actually, we were still hungry after it). Stuff was nice but the didn't show any interest in their guests.

Even from a one-star Hotel I expect to have a proper heating installation for a temperature of -5 degree - there was a heater in my room, but it was totaly useless (it was isolated from the rest of the room by a big locker). It had about 10 degress in the room and I had to sleep with 4 blankets! (for 33€ a night / singleroom). The Wi-Fi was free, but you had to order a new code everyday. Extra Air-Condition for hot days would costs an extra 10€ per day. (unacceptable for me)

Pros: Cheap hotel with basic amenities. Many stores/restaurants nearby. Cons: - COLD room in winter!! Central heat was too low! Had to wear 2 jackets, long underwear, and hat at all times and still felt cold. No joke!! - Walls are thin so it's noisy especially when hotel staff are shouting to each other up the staircase at while you're trying to sleep. - Far from metro if you have big bags otherwise not too bad. - I dislike the sit-down only shower with no curtains, water got everywhere!

Comment Hostel World. It was a good hostel overall.\ There was just five-minute walk from the Metro Station "Loreto". I was afraid of the sercurity problem in that area, but after the trip, I found that the area around there was rather safe. The Lady working the day shift was nice and polite, but no the same case for the guy working the night shift. As per the previous comment, I don't know why the heating system was shut down in the mid night, so it was extremely cold.
