Hotel Careggi is the ideal budget accommodation in Florence. We are located near Careggi Hospital and University Complex, our strategic position let you to arrive at the City Centre in 10 minutes by Tram (2 Km), you can enjoy Florence at reasonable rates. Hotel Careggi has a private parking with reserved car places, and Internet Wi-Fi available in all rooms and at the reception area. A new elevator suitable for wheelchair users has just been installed. Our families have been managed this hotel since 1990, with diligence and effort we satisfy clients needs, and in particular for children, cribs and home bottle warmers are available with no charge. We offer special discounts for long staying. A good Italian buffet breakfast is available with only € 6,00 per person.

Tremendous value, friendly and helpful personnel. This place was a gem. Room ample and clean. Very nice breakfast for six euro. Cappuccino included and delicious. Beer, wine and soda available for reasonable price. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place. Good restaurant next door opens at 6:00. Hotel is two blocks from the T1 Metro that takes one to the Santa Maria Novella train station terminal. The Hop on, Hop Off bus is right around the corner from McDonald’s across from this station.

There were a group of men waiting outside the hostel and I had to go through them to get inside. Then when I got to my room It hadn’t been cleaned. There was hair on the bed and in the bathroom, literally everywhere. Maybe it was a random one time event but I wouldn’t risk staying there again. Especially as a women the area felt unsafe.

Felt safe (we are two female travelers). Clean rooms with A/C (much needed during the month of July). Friendly staff. Easy access to the Metro to go to the city center. Would definitely book again!
