The owner was nice BUT: Waited for 30mn before someone let us in. Young staff was arrogant as we asked things. We got a deluxe room, a lot smaller than our previous hostel's. No A/C (didn't check, my fault), very hot. Just a WEAK fan, didn't work if windows closed, yet super noisy to have windows opened if room facing the street. Couldn't sleep, what's more: got FLEA BITES over my hand n FACE :( Owner nice enough to change us a bigger room tho (paid 10EU more/ still very hot). Not for summer!

Great atmosphere, the hotel is very cool looking and the owner is very helpful towards turists. It is located close to the piazza della liberta and about a 15 min walk from the rest of the tourist attractions, as well as bakeries and restaurants.

This is a small hotel near the tourist area of Florence that has the furnishings and ambiance of the early 1900's. The manager, who is probably also the owner, speaks excellent English and is very pleasant and helpful. The quad room we stayed in was small, but it worked for our family of four for two nights. We chose the hotel because it was close to the Parterre parking garage, where you can leave your rental car safely and catch the city minibus to the main attractions.

no complaints, hotel was worth the money and the father/son were not weird at all, pretty cool actually.

Excellent welcome! Very friendly staff! Nice quiet neighbourhood. Even though the hotel was not in the city centre, it is only a very short bus-ride away. The instructions on how to get there were easy to follow.

What we booked on the website was not what we got and we had to pay more to get a suitable room .The staff blamed Hosteoworld which didn't! Have the correct info on their website.

A little far from the heart of Florence but still within walking distance of the Duomo and stuff. Staff was pretty friendly but they weren't there all the time. When you go in you have to go up some dark stairs, which was a little creepy. Room and bathroom were clean and nice. I'm not sure if it's an Italy thing but we got a Queen and Twin bed in our room which we were not expecting. Pretty cheap especially for a hotel. Would stay here again!
