The room was clean but the bathroom was very small and very bad quality. If we wanted we could take the showerdoors back home as a souvenir... The location is good to the main attractions. There is no wifi on the rooms.

Good location and nice staff!!

Sorry - I took your door key!

Staff were rude. Must be overworked. Hotel has alot of knick knacks....perhaps to the point of being creepy

We moved from a hostel in Florence as here was cheaper, the man in charge is so lovely, let us print out boarding passes ans had no problem letting us pay a bit later. use his comp etc. we needed to stay an extra night and this was no problem. Really good location. Beds so comfy always made in the day for when you got back. Deff will stay here again if back in Florence!!! Fab place!

Minus the problem of reserving the wrong type of rooms for my group, it wasn't bad. Nice staff, clean rooms, good location.

Fabulous and helpful staff.

Perfect hotel of 2 stars. 20 minutes away from duomo.

Place was nice but nothing too special. Clean, comfortable but a bit of a long walk to the main attractions and sites.

The hotel was nice, big, quite room, clean. Some of the people working there were not very polite.

The rates here are quite reasonable, but the hotel surpassed all our expectations. Great old building, lovely vintage furniture and fittings, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is only a 15-minute walk from the Duomo, and a short bus ride from the station. Would certainly stay here again, if we came to Florence.

Very nice hotel! Clean, conveniently located! Pleasant staff

beautiful and cheap. liked it very much at casa lea. the only things we didn't like: - there've been many mosquitoes and they did not let us sleep. we hadn't expected there will be mosquitoes in october. - we've got every day a very small amount of bathroom tissues...:)

Pretty good location. The place has a lot of character. The owner is one of the coolest guys I've ever met.

Really quaint hotel, large rooms that are well furnished. Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful; it was practically a one-man show as he was the only staff we saw throughout our 4 nights here. Good wifi in the rooms. Place was a little hard to find-look out for the sign that says hotel Lea/Casa Lea instead of pensione Lea.

Hotel is located just a short walk away from a few key places to visit. Rooms were large and clean, ours even had a little balcony area so that was pretty cool. Owner was very nice and helpful, providing information on some of the places that we should go with our time in Florence. Just as a heads up to any potential customers, the method of transport from reception to the rooms is sort of a service elevator, so depending on the size of the group/luggage, multiple trips up/down may be needed.

very nice character, decoration involves lots of stuff but looks very cool and quite exotic place. the room and the bathroom also very nice and clean, no problem at all. A guy named Max received us and also looked after us when we checked out and he was very useful and friendly. The location is also good, but is not so close to the main sight seeings, but Pensione Lea worthy anyway

+ interesting furniture, nice balcony, very clean washroom. All the things you'd need closeby (washer/dryer, supermarket, places to eat). Very friendly reception, free wifi. -walkable to main sights (or take a bus). the front door key *never* worked (we had to buzz in), no other spare keys. And altho they recommended we leave the room key at reception, security didn't seem too great (anyone in the building could walk in to take a key from reception. No breakfast available during our stay

Not overly good tho the boss was very helpful. the front door was a bit dicey at times as was the bedroom door a couple of times I couldnt get in. Often there was no one in attendance in spite of my ringing a few times. One afternnon had to be let in by the cleaner.
