Overpriced. Reserved room with twin beds. The owner (he's weird) gaves us keys to 2 rooms and said "take the one you like". Room 7 had twin beds, no view and large sheets of paint that had fallen from the ceiling to the floor. We ended up taking room 11, which had a double bed, not what we booked, but at least it was clean. Other guests complained about the ceiling falling on their beds, owner didn't care. Cafe full of men staring at you downstairs. Only stay here for one night and leave asap.

Abdul, the guy at the front desk, was amazing. He took us to a local hammam the first time we were in Casa and remembered me when I returned two weeks later. He constantly offered us tea, and he has this friendly joking manner that dissipates the stress of travelling. The breakfast at the hotel was also pretty good, and guests eat in this big room bordered by sofas and beautiful Moroccan mirrors, overhung with pretty lamps from the souks. Stay here!

Room was fine and clean for the money. Downstairs area has a very "old Casablanca" feel to it - sort of charming, but also means that people are smoking and watching/shouting at TV in the common area/breakfast spot. Brereakfast pretty bare bones (bread, jam, and juice). The owner was friendly and very helpful.

We booked two rooms here (one online, one by phoning in advance. On arrival, the man at reception was extremely rude and told us only one room was available. He offered no apology and kept showing me his booking list (as if it was my fault.) He wouldn't let me and my boyfriend stay in the same room, demanding a marriage certificate, and happily turfed us out onto the street late at night. We had to go to a very expensive hotel down the road as he had made the mistake with our booking. No apology

It should be said this hotel isn’t ‘central’. Central in Casablanca is around Place Mohamed V. It is however a short walk to Casa Port station which has regular trains to Rabat (which can be caught one station and from there a change onto trains to most other places). The hotel and the square it’s on are run-down, not good late at night (but where is), the floors in the room seem permanently dirty and hot water was non-existent. Rooms are good size but dull lighting. Staff were all v friendly

We arrived at the hotel and were told they did not actually have a room for us at that hotel. We were told to go to another hotel. Only when we asked several times were we finally given some taxi money (what they gave us paid for only 20% of the taxi) and terrible, inaccurate directions that had us lost for nearly two hours before we found the new hotel. At the new hotel we were told to pay extra because this hotel was more expensive. This hotel is not recommended.

Good hotel. Very friendly staff, sometimes maybe even too friendly. Well located, felt safe the entire time. Good facilities. Hot water, good pressure. Just missing a shower curtain. In winter the outside rooms will probably be quite cold. The roof terrace is amazing.

The host/ hotel manager was not pleasant, rude... The hotel was very small, narrow areas and all was badly lit, looked more like a shaddy hostel! The place did not seem safe at all and we left on the same day, did not bother spending the night! I wouldnt recommend that place at all

very cold hotel, not to much clean, no tv, view to their neighbours,is in the middle of the Medina, but the Medina is not to much, at night you can feel unsafe. Is very close to the main road to go to the Mosque or to the Train Station by taxi. Friendly people.

The hotel should discript the direction to the hotel. If you are from Casa Port Train station, you may follow the Boulevard Des Almohades (Main Road). Then turn right walk up to a short slope(20Meters) which is about opposite of Chantiers Et Ateliers Du Marco.

At first I was concerned about the location (it's not safe in the Medina of Casablanca - taxi drivers are happy to tell you this and offer other hotels). But the hotel is only a few steps into the medina, off the main road and was very safe. The rooftop is nice with a view of the peer. I stayed here just for a night before flying out, and it was a pleasant place to be. The staff was pleasant and the front sitting room is a fun place to chat.

Really liked this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The building sits on a quiet square at the edge of the medina, close to the Hasan Mosque and with views of the harbor. The roof top deck was amazing.

The place is fine. A nice little hotel, and the price is certainly the best in Casablanca. At the same time, we got yelled at for coming in late, and the night staff was not particularly nice. Abdul was fabulous, and they were quite generous. Though cab drivers will tell you it's a bad part of town, it felt not new, which I kind of liked, and didn't seem dangerous...be careful and I think you're fine.

Hotel Central is on a great location for those who have limited time in Casa. Petit taxi costs 20 - 25 Dr. from Casa Voyaguers train station and it is on 10 mins walking distance to Casa Port train station. The hotel is very basic but good value for the money. It is right next to the medina and on 20 mins of walking distance to Hassan 2 Mosque.
