Close enough to Mestre station. A bit of an adventure getting into Venice proper. Good value.

Well nothing to complain, you get exactly what you pay for. The BIGGEST benefit is its superb LOCATION. Everything is right next to the hotel like supermarkt , bust stop, post office etc. If you are on a budget trip and dont like to spend nights in a hostel, this place is worth considering while in Venice.

This is not a hostel, but a hotel. We arrived at 9 AM and check-in wasn't until 1. The worker felt bad, so he upgraded us to a nicer room...and it was so nice that we returned to the desk to make sure it wouldn't cost more! The staff spoke English and were available to offer assistance with directions. The bus stop was directly across the street. It was a 15 minute ride into Venice, but we saved a lot of money by staying outside the city. There is a grocery right across the street.

International travellers, regardless of price require fast, efficient wifi in their rooms. The internet at Hotel Centrale was too slow to be useful.

Good value for money, location was handy with a convenient bus outside to Venice proper. The room was smaller than we expected and there were ants in the bathroom, also there was only one working plug in the room. Staff were helpful.

I thought the staff was a bit hurried and lacking in helpfulness, but they weren't rude by any means. The room we occupied, isolated on the 1st floor and titled "Jolly" by the hotel (4-person suite), was a great deal for the money we spent. 3 separate beds (2 twins and 1 queen) in three separate rooms, with 2 full bathrooms. Towel dryers were great too, although only one of the three was working properly. Very clean, livable facilities. Be aware however that it is located outside of main Venice.

I think a 3 stars hotel shouldn't charge 1.50€ for 15 min Wifi or 4€ for breakfast. Room was really noisy. It looks like pets are allowed as we woke every morning at 7am with a dog barking till 9 am. Diferent kind of hair could be found in the bathroom after being cleaned. This is not a 3 stars hotel, i stayed in hostels that are so much better.

Getting around by bus to Venice was extremely easy and explained well by the staff. My single room was nice and small, having my own bathroom was great and the water got quite hot in the shower (a must-have when traveling). Don't bother with the breakfast unless you like eating straight bread.

cheap for a hotel. staff were friendly and helpful! bedroom facilities were very nice. wifi is not free though, which i find ridiculous. location-wise it is not near the station but you can get to venice easily from a bus stop just outside the hotel.

Location in Mestre allows for a reasonable price. Good overall but WiFi was a lie. WiFi so weak that you need to be in the lobby to pick it up or they have a telephone booth with a computer that is directly connected to the internet that you can use when you pay the same fee: $5 euro for 1 hour or $10 euro for 24 hour (which you will never use unless you want to sit in the lobby that long).

Had a nice stay, everything worked just properly. Just guess 10 euro for a day of internet is too much.

Though not in Venice proper, it was a ten minute bus ride away to the island part. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and it was in a safe and lovely location in Mestre. Would recommend to anyone!

Location of this hotel is quite good. It's a 1.4km walk from the Venice Mestre train station. There's a supermarket about 50m from the hotel just across the road. Next to the hotel there's also a bar that offers also food (good pizzas!) and on the other side there's a tabacchi where you can buy bus tickets, stamps and tobacco of course. In the front of the supermarket there's a bus stop where buses run to the old town Venice (to the island). Bus ticket from buss is 2,5€ and from tabacchi 1,3€

This hotel is in an excellent location; 20minutes walk from Mestre bus station, directions simple and hotel easy to spot (big neon sign), Double room was compact but fit for purpose. Simply but adequatley furnished and firm matress! Also, TV with MTV etc. Room cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. Hotel a stones through from Mestre's piazza, shops, supermarket, restaurants, bars, cafes. Bus stop to main islands just over the road and a few newsagents in the area where you can buy bus tckt
