Hôtel Champ-de-Mars Reviews

Hotel is located at the old port. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Although they sat in the restaurant all day or were watching tv. Hotel is very outdated and not well kept. The room was verry small. I had to put my suitcase in the bathroom because there was no room in the room. Curtains didn't work so I couldn't close them.

Everything is perfect in this hotel, just the internet is available only at the lobby, you can't get at the room.

The hostel was severely overpriced for the quality we received. I'm not sure where the photos from the hotels website was taken but it was not in the Montreal location. Staff seemed absolutely bothered to help guests and tried to do as little as possible to help me and my company benefit from all of the amenities. I had to force answers out of them about whether or not the had what the website said they had available. I felt like I was intruding on them and really felt unwelcome.

The hotel was okay, but compared to a less expensive hostel we also stayed at, it wasn't great. The Wifi didn't work in our room and the bathroom was a bit dirty when we got there. It was a tad overpriced for the quality of the furniture and amount of space in the room, but it was fine for a couple of days. The staff at the restaurant were very nice, but the staff at the desk were brisk. The lobby was comfortably decorated and the hotel was in a good location. The parking nearby was expensive.

Nice little hotel right by the Old Port. Pretty close to both Downtown and Plateau. Fairly affordable. Receptionists are nice and friendly. They said wi-fi only worked in the lobby, but I managed to get a connection all the way from the top floor.
