No internet on a 3rd floor, not even one plug in the room,no control over ac-freezing cold at night, strange light system-one switch to bathroom and living room(?).Quite clean and comfortable bed though
Recommended, good value, very clean, daily maid service, good Wi-Fi in rooms. Individual safes in lobby. Only one English station on TV. Cannot control A/C in rooms, so sometimes a bit too cool. A bit hard to get to when the street is filled with the shopping stalls.
Good location in Chinatown though a little difficult to get to when all the selling booths are set up in the street in front. Great value, good showers, individual safes in the lobby. A/C in the rooms can't be controlled. Hot & cold drinking water available on the 2nd floor (bring your own cup). Difficult to meet others, though there are chairs, TV, and computers in the lobby. Good free Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Nothing great, wish the decription said that the street would be full of street vendors. It made it very hard to find while navigating between vendors. Few roaches, nothing scary. Close to good street food.
Overall I had a good experience staying at this hotel, but the location of the hotel is difficult if one has mobility problems, and it does not have wheelchair access if that is a traveler's requirement. In addition, while Petaling Street is a major tourist attraction in Kuala Lumpur, the street becomes very congested with people and street vendors at night which makes getting to the hotel quite difficult. Also, because there are numerous local food vendors on the street, the area attracts bugs.
