Nice place and don't forget to make use of the free bike rental! The bike literally made my stay.

The girls here were fantastic, and one morning we even had a big breakfast made for us. They let you hire bikes they have fr 500 yen a day or free for 2 hours. Train station was only about a 10-15 minute walk. Directions were a little confusing, as we shared a room with 6 others I hardly slept due to the loud noises coming from people around. Overall excellent place, I would stay again but book a private room if I had the chance.

Well, in my opinion, the best thing from Chuo Osaka is it's location. Located less than 1 min from subway, it is very helpful for me to go other place, and come back at night. Beside, near from the Hostel, there is a convenient store, which help me to grab beer at night or anything else. Bathroom is quite clean, although very small. Like less than 1x1 m. Bedroom is clean and spacious. Very different with one in Tokyo :) Overall, I satisfy my night there :)

I only stayed one night but it had everything I needed and the staff were helpful. Even though its a little outside of he main city area the price of the night was great value for what you got , would recommend this to any travellers but maybe not for a long stay as the communal area was not particularly that social, but I only stayed a short time so didn't get to know people that well

I enjoyed having my own tatami-mat room with television, wifi, comfortable futon bedding and my own refrigerator as well. The only issue I had was that all the food in the fridge froze and I coudn't eat it, so just make sure the settings are turned down so that this doesn't happen to you if you decide to stay at hotel chuo. It is in a very convenient location between Shin-imamiya station and Doubutsuen-mae subway station.

Staff were very helpful. Location was good (on the JR Loop line). Atmosphere was like being at home with TV in the common area, free wifi internet and free pc to use the internet. Definitely value for money!!

I'd stayed at Hotel Chuo for 10 days (4 beds dorm). This place worths what you pay, the room is big and confortable although it was a little bit dusty after some days. Good points: Wi-FI on every floor, free water and coffee, big bed, microware on every floor, nearby from Dobutsuen subway station, free bike rental, frigobar inside every room. Bad points: bathroom only on 1st floor, neighborhood not so wealthy but its safe.

I loved the tatami mats & sleeping on futons on the floor. Probably some of the best sleep i've had in a long time. 3 minutes walk from the nearest station. Maybe 10 minutes or less train ride to the heart of Osaka. Free hot coffee & tea is awesome especially after a day spent walking about in the cold. The only hiccup is that the walls are too thin. We could hear people walk in the room above us or take a shower in the next room. Thankfully that was about the extent of the noise. I'd go again.

I stayed in the 4bed mixed dorm. It was clean and spacious. I especially liked the public bath (I'm a fan of it). It can be used in the evening and morning; different times for men and women. There are lockers outside the dorm to store items, but you need to pay to use them. They provided towels, shampoo, soap and a hairdryer. I didn't use the kitchen area, but you can use it to cook. This was a great value for the price.

If you wanna find a cheap and clean place to sleep the chuo hotel is a good address, especially the old guy at the reception is very nice and funny.

We had a fantastic experience while staying here. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were great and overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay. Although it's an older building it was always clean and we felt very comfortable!

I only stayed here because the two sister properties (Hotel Chuo Oasis and Chuo Selene) where unavailable. The kind of riff-raff that was at Hotel Chuo is the reason why it is so cheap. Next time, I will spent the extra money to stay in a nicer place. As for good points, the staff were super-friendly. Other than that, the whole experience was bad. The place is a dive, it wreaks of stale cigarette smoke, no toilets or showers in the rooms and even for Japan the rooms were tiny.
