It was cheap, and you get what you pay for. Good for ultra budget travellers on very short stays. The suburb is not the best in Osaka but still felt safe enough and it's only a few seconds walk to main subway line and JR train stations. The area felt dodgy, the hostel looks like a big empty hotel. The staff wasn t too friendly (beside the man at the reception). Toilets smelt like they hadn t been cleaned for a long time (usually Im not too fussy, but this time it really didn t feel nice) Not nice impression in general. Oh ye, check out at 10. Guests have to go downstairs to take bath/shower as the bathroom and shower room are in the reception/lobby floor.Not a major problem but a bit inconvenience. Good access to trains and easy to get to from station.Very close to Kansai airport got there in 50 min. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good access to showers, got to use them without problems. Location seems weird at first, but if you explore you will find a theme park 5 min away with plenty of places to shop and eat. Single private room was ok with fridge ,tv, towel, robe, sandals. Staff tried to be as helpful as possibe, very friendly, great attitude. Stayed 2 nights at the start of trip in private double Japanese style room, and went back at end of trip and stayed in four bed dorm. Can be a bit noisy from traffic and trainline.
