The location is excellent, very very near midosuji line and JR line hence it is very convenient be it to travel out of osaka or to hit the town area like umeda, shinsaibashi or namba. Excellent for backpackers.

The hotel is very near to the subway station, and the train station is not far away too. It is just next to the shopping district. Free wifi is excellent. You can also get hot or cold water for drinking, and the microwave machine is great for reheating food. However, I stayed at the second floor, and the water pressure for shower is too small, so you had to bathe for a much longer time, which can be frustrating. Access to the rooftop to view the solar eclipse was great!

They should provide bathroom facilities for each room or each floor

I stayed at this hostel for one night. The room was really stinky and you could hear the train nearby as if you were sleeping on the rails...

Werbung mit den falschen Bildern des Nachbarhotels. Verwirrende Hotel Namen. Sauberkeit mießerabel. Zimmerbuchung nicht eindeutig durchführbar.

The bathrooms are uni-sex and do not have western toilets [with one exception on the first floor]. This is the main reason I can not recommend this hostel.

It was ok. Probably wouldnt stay there again. The beds were uncomfortable, the room was very cold and it was hard to communicate with the staff as they didnt speak good english. The location was pretty good, subway was just outside and JR was a couple of blocks away.

After one night, some things we noticed were that the tatami mats we're so thin it was like there was nothing in between you and the floor. In my lodge we have the base and a futon mattress to go on top, so you feel like you actually have some support to your bed. We have a private ensuite room, the shower in our room though was suspect. The mountings look like they had been ripped off the wall and the water flow was terrible, it took about 10mins for the water to actually come through.

We had three very good nights at Hotel Chuo. It was close to the subway, the room was nice and clean. There were towels, bathrobe and toothbrush, which is a luxury for a backpacker. The staff was helpfully and their wifi worked all over the hostel. Hotel Chuo did not have a lot of personality, but we would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Osaka.

The 9th floor wireless Internet is so bad that same as it didn't exist at all. In fact the wireless saying "9f" or so didn't let my computer connect at all, so I used the 8th floor wireless if it happened to work. But it was really bad.

Good value for money hostel, you get what you pay for basically. Staff spoke english, and the hotel had many maps of the area available. The location of the hostel on the other hand was a bit rough.

You get what you pay for. We only stayed for one night so there isn't much to commenton. We stayed in a twin tatami room which was very comfortable. We were given complimentary towels, bathrobes and toothbrush and toothpaste. However, our friends were staying in what we believed was going to be a 3 person room, and turned out to be a 4 person room and they had to chare with someone. they also did not receive the icmplimentary items that we did. Oh, and the showers are only on the ground floor.

Clean and safe and good value for the money. However, no locker in the dorm room. But feel safe anyway

the bikes that the hotel had for free were great, the best way to travel around Osaka. the open bathroom was nice, and i preferred using it to the shower rooms because those smelt kinda bad (well the one i tried) i was in a dorm room and it had a heater/air conditioner, which was great because we could control the temp of the room. i would definitely use this hotel again.

Ideal location one minute from the JR Shin Imamiya station, walking distance to shopping mekka Namba. Stayed in a 4-share with lots of space and own fridge. Staff doesn't speak English, but are very helpful with directions.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The staff was amazing and really helpful, specially since I had arrived late at night from Southeast Asia. All your facilities were up to par and I did not lack anything I did not need, from adapters to getting information around the local area. Thanks
