There is no internet in the rooms, but otherwise it is a great option for a very reasonable price.
Staying near the station has its pluses and minuses. Not a pleasant area but handy for trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Caserta, and a short tram rid to the port for boats to Capri, Ischia, Sicily etc. The hotel and its people rate high and the security is excellent.
The breakfast was great - continental but tasty. Place is spotlessly maintained. Low hot water pressure at first, but it was fixed quickly. The location was very convenient for day trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum. It was a 30 minute brisk walk to the Archeological Museum - the museum is a must-see. The "historic district" west of Garibaldi Piazza felt a little dicey late in the day. The area around the hotel itself and Garibaldi Piazza was good with several restaurants, kabob, coffee places.
It is a very good hotel in my point of view considering of course the money you pay. I rented a single room with a private bathroom. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. It was small ok but it had the necessary staff such as t.v., fridge, air-condition and a closet. The room was nicely decorated. The personnel was very polite and friendly. Actually it is a family business and they spoke also English. What I liked most was the breakfast which was rich and tasteful. Nothing bad to say.
