up the road from the Dragonfly restraunt and taxi drivers dont know about it. on a nice quiet street not too far from restraunts, supermarkets and the beach. very clean, good a/c. we were the only people there for the 2 nights we stayed!

This hostel is tucked away on a hill at the edge of the jungle. We could hear howler monkeys and treefrogs in the morning, it was lovely. The staff lady was super-nice, and let us keep our things in the room after checkout until our shuttle arrive on the last day. It was small, most townsfolk seemed to have never heard of it. I\'d highly recommend it - authentic in the face of tourism-dominated Tamarindo. Not as close to the beach as I thought, but this hostel had real charm.

If your just looking for a place to lay your head and chill before your next Costa Rican Adventure this is the place it's cheap, it's clean and the staff is really nice and accomodating...It's a little hidden and in kinda far from the main road but the price makes up for it...it was also relaxing, not full of crazy party people keeping you up at all hours...so If your looking for a nice quiet, cheap local this is it! :)
