Nice staff and good location. Unfortunatelly, bad confort, poor facilities and furniture.

The reception staff are great. all of them went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible and were very helpful with advice and the little things that can make for an enjoyable time . the condition of the room needed attention, but the bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned every day.

Dunno how those lousy reviews of this place I read on Tripadvisor came about. It's a good value,. clean enough (though not stellar), with very helpful and friendly staff.

A good hostel with friendly staff and perfect location close to the Ipenema metro and beach. Only the cleanliness could improve, I saw a cockroach in my room.
