When we arrived the bathroom was filthy, old toothpaste in the sink and toilet was broken. The Linen used on the beds were disgustingly dirty not to mention that when we were leaving we saw that the same overlay was being used..!! The one separate bed was also broken and made such a noise that we had to put the mattress on the floor in order to get a good nights rest. Honestly I think that with the nightly rates of this hostel it could at least include air conditioning in the summer.
Shower was gross, two single beds pushed together to make a double, breakfast was included and was good.
The hotel is at the third floor without elevator, so it could be hard to go up if you carry a big hand bag and are 70 years old just like my parents. When we made it, the receptionist couldn't find the reservation for the following day. Then he said the breakfast was not included in the price, but in fact it was one of my criteria to choose the hotel. When finally we got to the room, the sheets were clean but not the blanckets... so, I'd recommed this hotel unless you don't have other choice.
Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel for a night. It was a nice experience! The guy at the reception was more than helpful and friendly. The room was totally worth the money. There was hot water, towels and soap. The breakfast was free and pretty good! The location was nice and very close to the Academia Museum where they keep Michelangelo's David. All in all, it is worth choosing Hotel Colorado if you are looking for a cheap but nice stay.
