I think this is a great place to stay if you prefer to be directly on the beach and stay in safe, clean, quiet accommodation. The manager lives on site and is very accessible and full of information and energy. The only negative for me was that there were some uninvited guests that would creep into the rooms; I'm talking about HUGE water bugs a.k.a. cockroaches. If you can deal with those pests than you wouldn't mind staying here.

AMAZING, great, incredible...words like these would not do the hostel justice. To start, the beach is just ONE block away. You won't find bathrooms in other hostels that are so nice (large, tiled showers) and clean. Most importantly, the hostel manager and the hostel owners were so helpful, welcoming, and great conversationalists! I was so stressed during my flight to FLL, but I left happy and relaxed. Dinner, wine, and nice people can really turn a bad day into a good one. Thanks so much!

Carol, Andres and Dennis you were great! Thank you for hosting me and making my stay there memorable. I loved the community atmosphere, the unique touches like the quote and riddle of the day, and feeling safe! You guys have a great concept going. Keep it up. Much luck on your future world travels and Dennis, I LOVE YA! Your New Jersey Queen will return SOON!

Good and quiet hostel, even in the spring break period. Very close to the beach but kinda far from the main night clubs and bars. you'll need a cab to get to Downtown Fort Lauderdale. But other then that I'll recommand this place to everyone. The owners are caring and know a lot of stuff around the Hostel.

The hostel was super clean! The people staying there were cool, no straglers. The location is great - near shops, restaurants and the beach.. if you want to go to the busy end of the strip, it's only a short bus ride (0r about $8 in a cab). The owner - Dennis, is really helpful, fun and approachable. It was freezing cold when I was there but the communal room was always warm The only feedback I'd give is to have some up to date panphlets about activities, other than that - fabulous!

very well done! Extended or short stay visits are a pleasure. So close to the ocean, grocery stores, and shopping centers I couldn't really ask for anything else. Give it a try!

Good location, though a car would be handy (as everywhere in Florida outside Miami Beach and Key West!) as it's a bit far from the action, though just a block from the beach. Dennis is very friendly, tells you everything. I had a 'single' room which was really a double bed and very nice and clean. I was only there a night and didn't socialise much, the weather was cold so nobody by the pool - everyone was in the shared kitchen and seemed to be having fun!

The hostel is very close the beach and not too far from the more populated beaches of Fort Lauderdale. Dennis is very friendly and super helpful with any questions you might have. During my stay, they were undergoing renovations, to which will make this place better to go back to. Additionally, the hostel is under new owners, to which i made suggestions to give the hostel more character and atmosphere. So hopefully when you go, some changes have will have taken place. Even still, i recommend it!

Dennis (the manager) is a very friendly, caring man, who gave me some medication to help me get through my sickness. The location is a couple of blocks from the beach, but more North of the more happening areas of Fort Lauderdale. This place is like a mini 3 star resort, so you get what you pay for. On, and there's a pool! Cleanliness was very good. It's well-set up, with a big common area in which to socialize. I met some amazing people!

I cant say enough about the staff and owners of the hostel. I would say this is very much like a family atmosphere. The best hostel I have stayed at in Florida! Close to the Beach and other attractions.
