booked this hotel not knowing there was a youth hostel right in the old city which was much cheaper. the hotel was in a good position though near the bridge so 10 mins to new town and shops. it was quaint and the staff nice. nothing to do in the hotel though and rooms small. would be better in the summer as nice garden. stunning views of the old city. booked this hotel not knowing there was a youth hostel right in the old city which was much cheaper. the hotel was in a good position though near the bridge so 10 mins to new town and shops. it was quaint and the staff nice. nothing to do in the hotel though and rooms small. would be better in the summer as nice garden. stunning views of the old city. ...Close

Great location below the Cite with a terrace on the roof that has the best view of the castle in the city. Wonderful except for the rude younger girl who only spoke French. Yelled at me, told me my room was available for another night, then banged on my door shortly after to say it wasn\\\'t, interrupting our morning. Never apologized. Fantastic view of the castle from our window and little balcony, but perhaps not from them all. It\'s only a few minutes walk to the castle itself, about 15 to the main square in the lower town and 20 to the train station. A really lovely hotel to visit the castle from. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room was pleasant and cosy with a large bathroom. The in-house meal of the day was tasty and great value at 15 euros for 3 courses - served in a beautiful courtyeard garden. It's a quiet place but right in the thick of things, and the location and view of / access to the City is fabulous. (Tip, walk around the city in late evening!) Bel hotel, bien situé. Si vous êtes en avant avec les fenêtres ouvertes c'est un peu bruyant. Ils auraient du me donner la télécommande pour la clim!Bel hotel, bien situé. Perfect location - 5 minutes walk from the Cité Médiévale. The room was cheerful and overlooked a lovely garden. Breakfast was good too, more choices than you usually find. The only problem was that the internet would not work in our room and only worked outside of the room once during the stay. The man at the reception desk was helpful and refunded our internet, but it still was a little frustrating. Also, the walls were thin. However, it was a great price and location.
