Luckily Due Giardini is a 10 min walk from Estazione Centrale (for train&bus), a 2 min walk to the nearest metro stop, (Lima), & a 2 min walk to many clothing stores. The hotel was clean & provided towels, a nice hot shower, a little shampoo package, locks on the doors, & staff that spoke enough English to give us directions to places of interest. Fyi the only place they can hold your luggage after the 11am checkout is in the corner of their patio under a table. Good place for an overnight stay, and that's about it. It's about half a kilo from the train station which is nice. Not really near the center of Milan though. You get about what you pay for- nothing over-the-top and certainly nothing horrendous. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady explained (in English) how to get to the soccer stadium by public transportation from the hotel. The shower was nice and hot and had good water pressure. The down sides were bathroom and room were tiny and no wireless internet available for guest use. I would recommend it to vacationers who are watching their pennies. Due Giardini is located really close to the central train station which has links to Malpensa airport. Therefore it was ideal as we arrived late into Milan and just needed somewhere to crash which was clean and close to the train station! Got the front bedroom though - a bit noisy in the morning but no complaints otherwise - even managed to store our bags there for a couple of hours after checking out! thanks!Due Giardini is located really close to the central train station which has links to Malpensa airport.
