Stayed in this hotel as a second option instead of staying with family in Santo Domingo. The staff were quiet nice to us, per chance because my father who was with me is Dominican. They were very accommodatiing to us and always courteuous, so I give them props for that. However, the room is very poorly cleaned. The sheets were not washed properly and the maid even shoved dirty sheets into the closet! Floors not swept weel. I wasn't expecting anything fancy out of this but AT LEAST cleanliness!
