The place is okay for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend staying any longer.

interesting place with an interesting host. the mattresses were clapped out so you would't want to stay any longer than 1 night. the toilet was filthy and not cleaned the time we were there. staff here need to learn to use their "inside voices" when chatting in the common area right next-door to the dorms especially at 5am in the morning. but the upsides of this hostel are, there is AC in the dorms which was good at night time and they can give you free filtered water. wifi wasn't bad either.

A good Place to Spend the Night between Utila and next destinations, Peter will take you to your early bus if needed as taxis are hard to get and pick you up from ferry if he is around. Make sure you Book your bus with Hedman Alas, we got the station at 4:30am to find no seats were left for the journey to Antigua. Good WiFi and Hot shower, Power did go out for 3 hours as La Cieba has power issues we were told. Peter has Ordered a Generator, so future guests wont have that problem.

Good clean basic hostel - staff very chilled out but still helpful. Limited atmosphere but went in low season.

Really nice guys that work there, really helpful too with lifts to the ferry. The pancakes for breakfast were very yummy, definite recommendations or them! Felt safe and secure, overall a decent place to stay.

Close to ferry terminal. Also I was getting a shuttle with Omar to Leon and he picks people up at this hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cheap fruit and veg stand directly opposite hostel.

Stayed here only one night on the way to Utila. Basic hostel, nothing too fancy. Was okay for staying one night, wouldn't stay longer though.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on my way to Utila, one of the bay islands, and it was the scariest night I've ever spent away from home. There were people walking around on the balcony right outside our glass door(which we didn't realize could even be locked until the next morning) during the middle of the night, and the atmosphere from when we got there didn't feel safe at all. The part of town was not very welcoming, and the first taxi driver we tried to take didn't know where it was.

Stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to utila. Had a private room which was fine however when you showered it leaked water out the bathroom and all over the floor in the room by our bags. The owner was very strict about people being let outside of the hostel to look around town. He organised us a taxi to the ferry which was meant to pick us up at 8am however he came and woke us up at 7:30 because the taxi was there. We told him he said 8am and then the taxi came back at 8:30
