Super helpful staff but run down, grim, insanely hot and shabby. Looked about to fall down, exposed wires in the shower, holes in ceiling, way way too expensive considering the state it was in. Also not close to the ferry.

Was a basic hostel but served its purpose of somewhere to stay so you can get the ferry in the morning. Staff were helpful and arranged transport to the port. No other reason to stay here though.

The owner and staff took good care of us. With pick up at the bus terminal when we arrived late and arranging transport to the Bay Island ferry. Appreciated it a lot.

As a woman traveling solo, I found the owner's sexual advances unsettling. I stayed there for a night before heading to roatan. It was fine- seedy neighborhood, but that's La Ceiba. When planning my return, I emailed Peter about booking a room and a getting a ride from the ferry. He replied that he would do so for 50 lempiras and a kiss. Joking or not, this made me very uncomfortable and I cancelled my reservation. Unprofessional to say the least.

Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Super soft, so my girlfriend and I just rolled into the middle and were stuck against each other. Staff didn't know how much our room cost, and when they found out the next morning we were trying to leave for the ferry and they didn't have change, so we had to wait for the manager to come, which made us miss out on sharing a cab with another group. On the plus side, the hotel was clean and had hot showers.

I only slept here one night since I wanted to continue on to Utila. But it was dirty, the staff were rude and they charged us more that they claimed they would. I would not recommend this place at all!

Terrible. Tiny rooms and the whole place just feels dingy. Staff lied about available rooms – said only privates were available. But when pushed, admitted that there was room in a dorm after all. Now the worst part – dinner. I knew I should have found somewhere else to eat when I looked into the kitchen. Gordon Ramsay would not be pleased! It looked really dirty. Only one option was available - spaghetti and fried chicken. The chicken was served but was hot in places and cold in others – obvious

The room space was a little too small. A bed room for four without any tv set. The reception seems as if he did not manage a bout our reservation when we arrive at the hostal.
