A good Place to Spend the Night between Utila and next destinations, Peter will take you to your early bus if needed as taxis are hard to get and pick you up from ferry if he is around. Make sure you Book your bus with Hedman Alas, we got the station at 4:30am to find no seats were left for the journey to Antigua. Good WiFi and Hot shower, Power did go out for 3 hours as La Cieba has power issues we were told. Peter has Ordered a Generator, so future guests wont have that problem.

Good clean basic hostel - staff very chilled out but still helpful. Limited atmosphere but went in low season.

Really nice guys that work there, really helpful too with lifts to the ferry. The pancakes for breakfast were very yummy, definite recommendations or them! Felt safe and secure, overall a decent place to stay.

Close to ferry terminal. Also I was getting a shuttle with Omar to Leon and he picks people up at this hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cheap fruit and veg stand directly opposite hostel.

Stayed here only one night on the way to Utila. Basic hostel, nothing too fancy. Was okay for staying one night, wouldn't stay longer though.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on my way to Utila, one of the bay islands, and it was the scariest night I've ever spent away from home. There were people walking around on the balcony right outside our glass door(which we didn't realize could even be locked until the next morning) during the middle of the night, and the atmosphere from when we got there didn't feel safe at all. The part of town was not very welcoming, and the first taxi driver we tried to take didn't know where it was.

Stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to utila. Had a private room which was fine however when you showered it leaked water out the bathroom and all over the floor in the room by our bags. The owner was very strict about people being let outside of the hostel to look around town. He organised us a taxi to the ferry which was meant to pick us up at 8am however he came and woke us up at 7:30 because the taxi was there. We told him he said 8am and then the taxi came back at 8:30

We stayed here on route to bay islands. The guys here were most helpful and really looked out for us girls! They were most careful for our security and transferred us straight to the ferry the next morning! Thanks heaps :)

As soon as I showed up, it felt like everything was about money. I had another gentleman I met along the way that decided to room with me. When the owner found out, he tried to charge us more than the room was worth. As I was sitting waiting for my ride the next day, he was talking about the cost of a taxi, and rather than letting 3 people share the cost of the taxi ride, he kept upping the cost for each person that joined. Lastly, he gave me incorrect information about busses.

Great safe place to stay. Owners are very knowledgable and run a pleasant place. Breakfast and coffee always offered. Stayed a week and felt very secure and enjoyed people watching from the balcony.
