We stayed in a pension room for 3 nights and a hotel room for 1 night (strangely the cheaper the the pension on some nights). Our first room was sufficiently spacious and on the ground floor. The room was well equipped and included a TV (with remote!) and a kettle; these were both surprises considering the price we payed. A quibble with the room is the furniture is low quality and mostly IKEA but was functionally (all except one chair). Hotel room was smaller and felt a bit like a downgrade.

Quite nice hotel with small rooms and tiny bathroom, but with very friendly stuff. It was very quiet place, did hear any of my neighbors. The location is not perfect but it'll take about 15 minutes walk to get to the center. The good thing that you can rent bicycles right there.

The Hostel is ok, they clean everyday. But when we the first time we walked into our room we were surprised - the room doesn't have a window. There is only skylight. They have only two rooms like that. We asked for changing the room and it wasn't a problem. The second room was ok - had the window :)

We weren't expecting much from this hostel but it was actually really nice. The room was a bit small, but it had a sink and a TV. The shared bathroom was disappointing compared to other places, but I have seen worse. It is just very small, especially when you are using the toilet. Breakfast wasn't included, but you could pay for it if you wanted. The location was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was VERY expensive considering it wasn't in a prime location, didn't have a kitchen, breakfast wasn't included and the room was pretty small. Everything was clean (except for under the bed) and the security was great. The staff was great and helped us with directions and some ideas on places to eat in the area.

Awesome little place!! No problems whatsoever, nice staff, clean as clean can be!! By far the cheapest place i've stayed in Amsterdam, but by no means the worst!! I would maybe go so far as to say it was also the best place i have stayed in Amsterdam! Would come back if I got the same deal!! :D

I was there for 3 nights and they changed me to a different room every night!!! I had to do and undo the luggage every morning... and I don't understand why... The asian guy in the reception is always looking angry.
