We were rudely met by staff were rather abrupt with us and upset we didn't speak Dutch. We were booked in for 2 nights and after the first night they moved our stuff into another room without informing us...I don't really appreciate other people coming in and moving me without even asking!!

The staff are very efficient and helpful. Near a canal, & a good coffee shop just around the corner.

I read a lot of bad reviews about this hotel, but once there in one of the private rooms we found it a great place to stay. Very clean and cheap with fresh towels and bedding daily. The hotel is very secure and the staff are helpful. The tram stops a short walk from the hotel and a cab to Dam square is only about €15.
