Hotel Flipper Reviews

The single room was tiny (6ft by 6ft) and the bed was 2ft wide and horrible to sleep on. Don't know how the other rooms were. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Most staff were helpful. Free wifi and a good selection of tourist brochures. Five minute walk from tram stop (Amstelkade on line 4). Not sure it all made up for the lack of sleep due to the bed, though. PS There is also a 5% sales tax added when you get to the hotel. Not sure if this is entirely legal, but be warned.

The room was quite nice and the shared bathroom was nice as well although the shower was really, really tiny. It does seem a bit out of the way but the tram stop is close by and it's easy enough to get around. As a solo female traveller I would be a little hesitant to walk around the area late at night alone although I think it's actually probably quite safe. I stayed somewhere else that was a lot more expensive and the rooms here were much nicer so I would stay here again for sure.

Breakfast was a little poor and the price is not as affordable as I would like. Clean place and I like that you get towels every day unlike many other hostels. The bathroom was very nice.
