Hotel France Albion Reviews

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and a nice size for two. Location was pretty central and easy to get to. Only complaint would be that the stairs that run through the building were very noisy with people running up and down from about 6am-8am. Okay if you're early risers :-)Overall a nice place to stay. Pricey by our standards, especially as breakfast not included but seems standard in Paris for 2 star. Recommend to young professional couples.

My only concern was the absence of a second escape route in case of fire.

The hostel is clean & a 10 min walk to Galerie Lafayette area. My only concern was that they attempted to make a pre-authorization on my credit card to see if it was valid in order to guarantee a room even though I already paid a deposit. Also, you have to give the front desk the key every time you leave the hotel. When you come back sometimes it is another attendant & they give you the key without verifying who you are so someone could come in & pretend to be you if they really wanted to.
