Internet connection was very poor...somewhat unsettling atmosphere

Good hostel in the middle of Bruxelles, really close to Gran Place, metro lines and pubs. Staff is good, very nice and friendly. The room was clean and big, with a shower and a little washbasin. The only defect was there isn't any elevator, and doing 4 floor of stairs was really hard with baggage! (We were in the last floor)

the rooms look better in the website than in reality. a bit noisy at night as it is very close to a big avenue.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Francois. My only complaint is that there wasn´t any toilet on my floor (I was on the top floor). I had to walk down two flights of stairs to go the bathroom. However, there was a sink and a shower in the bedroom (which was a nice plus). The location is perfect; it´s only a 2 minute walk from the Grand Place. Overall, it is pretty good hostel.

Large, spacious room with a view, good value for money

Nice, quiet place in a good area of town. Lots of nice bars all around the block. We had a double room with lots of space, a nice big bed, and private bathroom. Be aware there is only a tub with a shower head, not a shower, if that's what you're used to. Reception was pretty uninvolved, and you have to ring to get in to the building. Careful on the steps! I fell a couple times.

The location is excellent, right in the hear of Brussels. Staff is pretty ok. If you read the description carefully you will know that you share the toilet, but in double deloux you have your own shower. Room 11 was clean, warm and pretty spacious. I enjoyed the stay. Good quality considering the price.

The loaction is very good, just near the metro Bruse. Grand markt is just walk able in 3 mins. But there is no lift and to put the luggage in the top floor was horrible. Room rent is quite high. I booked a private double bed room but there was no WC inside the room. It was a sharing WC. its not value for money. You can stay just for a night

Not a bad place to stay for a night or two. Brussels didn't seem to have many good options. The owner didn't seem to speak much English, so it was lucky I spoke a little bit of French. No major complaints. Pretty close to the main train station (10 minute walk) and just off a main street.

It s very good price and excellent location of hotel .very close to center..We were happy to find shops nearby. Also it was inside of Midi area that was good . Our room was clean and staff was graceful.But we had one problem. We needed to change room from number 3 to number 2 in the and of trip. Room number 3 is okey, but Its extremely freezing in room number 2 !!!!!! The window couldnt be closed...It was wind in that room. And it was too noisy ....but we had known this fact..

The hotel is for you if you want just sleep, there is 0!! fuin but it was clean nad in a good location. It was also very safe

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The location couldn't be better and the staff are very kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, as were the bathrooms. Great hostel.

oThis hotel was a lot better than I was expecting. We booked a private room and it is well worth the extra money . The rooms were spacious, very clean with our own shower and sink . I would definetly reccomend this hotel for anyone looking for a centrally located hotel that you will feel very safe and comfortable in :)

Great place for a one-night stay, with a great location. We were in a double room and enjoyed the big room, the shower, the TV screen and the music playing from the speakers on the ceiling :) There is a wi-fi connection but you need a password, I guess you just need to ask for it. It's a bit noisy on the streets in the night, but you can deal with it. The woman at the reception was friendly and gave us a little map of the city for free. And Martin is one fabulous black cat!

The Hotel was a perfect choice :)

First friendly face in Brussels which was much appreciated! Really large room overlooking a side street which had cool bars and plenty of restaurants...supermarkets/internet cafe etc. About 5 mins walk to the Grand Place so ideally placed. Free wifi, plenty towels, warm room, friendly, easy going staff...nice big cat :) Let us keep our luggage in the office on our last day of mooching around Brussels. .. All in, this will be the place we will stay at on further visits. J & J

It was really good located in the city center and surrounded by bars.

This hostel was fantastic, great location and such a nice hostess. The room was so big, totally unexpected. It is right near the centre, and not too far from the train station, or at least the Bourse/Beurs Metro station. There is a tram stop close by as well. It would have been really great if breakfast was included but all in all a great hostel.

Nice. Very clean. Friendly staff. Loud neighborhood.
