Location of the hostel is perfect. Just 5 minutes to Grand Place. Although the staff don't know English, they are helpful. We booked a room with shared bathroom but there was only a wc. There is no shared shower. But the man, who is sitting on the reception, offered us help about taking shower, that was nice. So, more than 2 nights might be a problem without taking shower :)

The location is really nice, but they don't have showers for the basic double bed private.

Hotel is in the center so the location is perfect. it is surrounded by a lot of bars so it is perfect for younger who wants to go out. At first, it was a little bit difficult to find because the letters on the doors are too small.

The location being the strongest point, the place itself feels quite eerie. No internet in the upper floor makes you sit on the stairs with your laptop, as there is no common space whatsoever. Construction works just over the window does not give you much opportunity for a relaxed morning. I am happy that the bed did not collapse under me, but as it legs were glued to it just with adhesive tape, that was close. Unlikely to visit again.

Alguien tiene que solucionar la diferencia de lo que ofrecen en la página de Hostelworld y lo que te da el albergue. In Hostelworld says that the room includes a shared bathroom, and when we arrived the owner says that we couldn´t used the bathroom or the shower, except we paid 20 euros.

Everywhere we considered staying in Brussels was way too expensive except this hotel and maybe one or two other hostels. It was still about the same price as most other places we stayed in other cities on our trip, but the value for money was much lower. The location was really great, but that was the only plus. We opted for no shower just to make our stay affordable. Our room was above the bar, so super noisy, kept us up all night. Also, the floor was weirdly sticky.

was a spacious room, the toilet was on every second floor but you have a shower and sink in your room, no elevator so we had to carry luggage up 8 steep flights of stairs. hotel was close to city centre with restraunts close by. staff were helpfull.enjoyed our stay.

We spent two nights at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, warm and clean. The hotel is centrally located, near the Grand Place and Mannequin Pis. The proprietor was very friendly and his reception was always open and he was flexible with payment options (cash vs. card). The only real downside was one which was totally out of the control of the proprietor, namely, that there was some significant external noise.

Cheap nice hotel with a perfect location. Friendly staff. The building is not very welcoming but our room was nice and very clean. Good value for money. I would recommend this hostel.

Good place, clean and really close to the city center. On the other hand, the staff can't really speak English

The hostel in general was very run down and appeared quite dirty. The room was dark even with the light on, the tv and music system did not work. The bathroom door was nonexistent, instead a shower curtain hung in its place, not even close to reaching the floor in length and in no way being able to hide bathroom sounds. The shower did not have a shower curtain. The light in the bathroom did not work, although this was repaired after complaining. All in all the worst hostel we ever stayed in!

The location is excellent, really close to the Grand Place. The room was really big, and we had a private shower and a sink. We only had to share the toilette, but it was always clean. The only bad thing was that the wifi wasn't strong in our room (which was almost on the top floor). But I would stay in this hotel again! Great value for the money we paid.

This was a great choice! It was only a 5-minute walk to Grote Markt (Grand Place), so we were close to a lot of the excitement, but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't fall asleep. Quiet and safe environment with the owner always at the little front desk to greet us and help us with anything. Free wifi, clean shower and sink in the room, surprisingly comfy pillows. Having the toilets on various floors was never an issue. I'm going back to Brussels in March, and I plan to stay here again! Loved it

Big clean room with a bath. The hotel manager spoke a little broken english, but was friendly. It was difficult to find, as its just a small door with a little sign, and you have to buzz to get in, but once it was found it was fairly nice. It had a very central location, ideal for the museum and the christmas markets. Close by is a very nice bakery for breakfasts!
