Good staff and everytime super supportive in case of touristic questions.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fukudaya. The staff went above and beyond to help us with restaurant bookings which was amazing. The location was great for us... 15 minutes walk to Shibuya Station. Would definitely stay there again.

clean, nice, and well-located

We found our host to be so very helpful. We were made to feel very welcome and in a truly confusing environment such as Tokyo appears certainly to us, the Hotel Fukudaya was a haven to come back to each day. We will recommend the hotel to all our friends.

I think this hostel is nice but overpriced as it is very old. The staff were nice but for the price i didn't feel it was worth it. The location was our main problem as it is a 15 minute walk to the train station up and down a large hill. The old couple were very nice though :)

Very friendly and nice place. There is free wi-fi and a laptop for you to use near the front desk. About 10-15 minute walk to Shibuya but can be confusing to get there at first. Rooms are more traditional and have a TV. No kettles are provided but towels were provided every day. Overall very nice place and great people.

Nice little hotel. Things to mention - they supply you with a thermos of hot water, so you can't boil water whenever you need, which I found a little annoying. If you're used to traditional mat beds and hard wheat pillows, then fine, but we found it slightly uncomfortable being on the floor. I was aware this is what we were getting, it just wasn't as comfy as I thought it would be. Also, I know it's central, but I did think it was quite expensive at around £100 p/n dble, as it is rather basic.

The hotel was very clean and it was in a great location. I think we could have been given specific directions to the hotel. The two elderly women and the elderly man were very pleasant. Though, the younger man and woman did not seem as friendly. I'm not sure if it was because we looked young. Although, I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to friends'.

We had a PERFECT stay at Fukudaya during Christmas break this year. The hotel is just a 10-15 minute walk from the bustling Shibuya district (and Shibuya station). Far enough away to have a quiet and peaceful stay in Tokyo - and close enough to not have to worry about catching the last train home if you plan to stay out all night drinking sake and singing karaoke. They lock the front door at midnight, but you can ask for an entrance code if you plan to stay out late. The staff is very friendly!
