The Owner was very friendly and helpful. We had a room with ensuite bathroom which was ok, but very small. The room was nice and clean and was cleaned every day. Parking is no issue in the area. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes and it takes only 15 - 20 minutes to walk to the old town. Overall we were very satisfied.

Far away from centre

Nothing much to say. We stayed there for only 1 night. Everything is ok, except that there is only 1 bath room for both floors and only 1 wc per floor.

The hostel was certainly a welcome break at the end of a cycle touring holiday, but we collectively found the landlord to be somewhat less accommodating than he could be. The welcome was fine, and he provided the requisite advice when asked for directions to the ferry terminal and about the city itself, but he was unavailable (i.e., in his apartment, which was adjoined to the hostel) after about 18:00. He kindly let us store our bikes in the hostel's/ pub's garden, though.

Staff is very friendly, if you want to eat out late (after 22:00) you should drive to saint malo old town. Only one shower for all rooms.

I was with a group of friends in this hotel for only one night, but it served our needs perfectly. The three of us wanted a place to sleep and shower at an inexpensive price. In the neighborhood around the hotel there are bakeries and restaurants. It was perfect for what we wanted. This charming little hotel is outside of town, so if you don't have a car, it's a little bit of a trek if you're trying to get to the center of Saint Malo.
