Decent place. Extra nice and helpful younger guy at the front desk. Would stay there again
The bed covers had stains all over them they were GROSS. The bathroom had only two little things of shower gel. No soap or anything else and we had booked a room for two for two nights. Breakfast was not great. Coffee was gross, tasted more like half milk half water and no taste of coffee. The place was tricky to find and when we did find it we found out it was 4 blocks away from the main place where we had to walk to and from for breakfast on the second day.
When we booked this hotel it claimed to have a bar and a swimming pool, it doesn't have either. The hotel doesn't have a fridge or a kitchen either. We booked a double bedroom with a shared bathroom, when we got there our double bed was two single put up beds pushed together and the bathroom was on another floor! Very poor! I asked for another fan and was told I could not have one. The pillows are so thin they are useless! The breakfast is disgusting! Do not book here at all!
Was a very old layout and old style rooms and furniture, but our room was very big with its own shower and sink so was ideal. And we got free breakfast which was a bonus. Good location too.
I was very impressed. Very low costs and what a good room in a convenient location! Also the staff was so helpful - the man was explaining everything very carefully and he was very kind. What is more, I had a reservation for the room with general bathroom but for the same price they gave us the room with private bathroom. That was good! I recommend!
The garden area was lovely! The hostel was a short walk from restaraunts and the centre of town. The only negative was that we couldn't open our window which made our room quite stuffy, however they had provided us with a fan. Overall would totally recommend!
A lovely 15 minute walk from the centre of Florence. Hotel Garden was a lovely experience. Beautiful and large room. A lovely airy veranda. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Very laidback hotel
there staff was really unkind. we were not well. its too far from station .it takes 18 min by walk.
When we arrived at Hotel Garden the manager told us there was a problem with the water for our room so instead of moving us to a different room he actually booked us at a nicer hotel very close by for no extra cost to us, we just paid what we would to have stayed there originally. He was extremely kind and generous to upgrade us, so while we didn't actually stay at Hotel Garden, we would highly recommend as the manager is very friendly and helpful for all issues.
The room was great, the only problem was the kitchen- it didn't have anything but a fridge.. That was because we weren't located in the main building but in a smaller one, one street further. Still the staff let us use the kitchen in the main building in the middle of the night so I can't complain. For the rest we really liked it.
It's pretty cheap and suits in your needs. Don't expect any extra's though.

This is by far the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. Right on a busy Piazza with trams and cars going by right outside the window. Even with te windows closed it was loud. The building itself is a cool old building but the rooms are dingy and there were only 2 bathrooms for a while floor of rooms. We had to leave we hated it so much and the owner refused to give us a refund even though we offered to pay for the next night.
Hotel Garden is good for staying. There was clean and spacious room. Staff were very hospitable. Hotel Garden inside is like a palace, there are beautiful pictures and openwork staircase. All this things make amazing impression on visitors, so you will feel very comfortable there.
Booked to stay a night in hotel garden but when we arrived we were told they had booked us into a different hotel owned by the same person. My review is of this hotel (Hotel Patrizia) as we only got to the entrance of hotel garden.
WiFi works perfectly in the room. The staff in the reception in the morning is super helpful. Bathroom was clogged once in a while.
The hotel is about a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of Florence, and can be walked to along the river. Staff were friendly and helpful, and although nothing special, breakfast was included and helped with saving some money! Clean sheets and towels were given each day, and free wifi was provided, although doesn't work in rooms.
Great location. The directions from the train station on the confirmation paperwork wern't so great. They take you a much more complicated way than need be, so map on your own ahead of time. The location for the money was great. There were Mosquitos, but they were prepared and supplied repellant. The staff was nice, and let us chill our wine in there fridge. It's an old building, but it was clean. Overall I would stay here again.
There were too many mosquitoes and the rooms were clean but not spotless.
Slightly basic and old fashioned hostel bedrooms. The breakfast was poor, offering only a small selection of rolls, juice and packaged cheese.
Solidly-priced hotel that is relatively easy to find from the train station, and just a short walk to all of the main attractions in Florence. There are a handful of cheaper, off-the-beaten path lunch options near the hotel, which is a nice bonus. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are very clean and adequate for a short stay.
