Hotel Gerando is a nice and small hotel in a great location. Rooms are tiny but the bathrooms are quite generous. Breakfast was included and alright. We booked a double bed room but got a room with a large singlebed (which is still to small for 2), on the door it also said we were in a singleroom. So we talked to the staff, the guy did not quite know what to say and just told us that double and single rooms are the same. So i recommend to book a room with two single beds and not a double bed.

Colazione inclusa. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

The plug in sink was broken. Informed hotel. Attempts to fix which was unable to. Response was 'sorry' can't do anything about it till tomorrow which was when I check out. No attempts to find another available room or take money off my bill. Street noise was loud.

Clean, nice decoration and furniture, hot water in the shower, wi-fi inside the room, good breakfast, friendly staff, near underground station, good restaurants and the sacre croir church, which is a famous touristic attraction... pretty good hotel

The location of this hotel is excellent, incredibly close to transportation, tourist attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. However, you can basically hear everything next door, from the floor above and outside your room clearly, and especially if you're staying in a single room, it will be on the G/F hence your sleep will be largely disrupted by the other guests going in/out. Wifi does work very well though, the staff is helpful and nice.

I was excited to find this place for the location and the value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My one complaint is that our en suite bathroom had severe water damage which has led to a mold problem. You have to step up into the shower and there is nothing preventing the water from spilling out onto the floor except for a flimsy shower curtain. The floor would be covered in water. When we left the room and returned that night there was a "funky" smell. We kept the window open.

The location is great, very close to the Anvers Metro station and the breakfast was fine. Staff was helpful in finding us an affordable ride to the airport.

In Paris this is a great place for relatively cheap. The room was cleaned everyday and it had a great view. We loved that they had free breakfast. If you are used to super fancy hotels this is not you thing, but everything was clean and nice. We had a great stay and loved Paris.

Do not stay here!!! This place is absolutely disgusting. There is mold all in the bathroom(roof tiles, toilet, shower)!!! The sheets are not clean; they don't have extra linen or washers and dryers, which means it doesn't get cleaned.

Hotel Gerando has a great location, right at the bottom of Montmatre, with Sacré Coeur within sight. But that's about it. When we arrived they put us in a room with two single bed room although be booked a double full size. Upon request they could not change it for the whole weekend, which was very disappointing. The room itself was small, but kinda standard for Paris. The floor was not too clean, the bathroom had silverfish! There was a balcony but no chairs to sit on.

We booked a double room but was given two singles and were told there weren't any doubles left. Other than that it was a pretty good stay. It was clean, someone changed the sheets and towels every morning. There were several supermarkets close by and the metro just a stones throw away. Also the moulin rouge was a short walk away. For the price you pay you can't really complain

Nothing fancy but good location with good transport links and nice enough local area. Good value for money, all the basics covered to a very satisfactory extent. Would recommend it if you are looking to go to Paris but don't want to splash out.

For a two star hotel we found it very pleasant, in general. The location is excellent, the atmosphere is quite good and the staff is always very nice and helpful (at least they are always trying to be...) As main disadvantages I can name two: - They seem to have no good spot to hide your bags (in a check in/out situation, for instance); - I've read a lot of reviews saying that you can hear almost everything thats happening on the rooms next to yours. well... thats true!

I still can't believe this place exists. I think this is such great bang for your buck. For a mere 30 euros my friend and I had a private bedroom with two twin beds and with a balcony and a private bathroom! That is UNBEATABLE in Paris. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great. The hotel is clean and simple...everything you need. The only problem was that our window wouldn't close and the toilet was a bit loud, but none of this affected the quality of our stay. Yay
