Hotel Ginevra Reviews

Hotel Ginevra was the nicest we stayed at on our trip. It was clean, very close to the train station, right across the street from a fabulous pizzeria and had very nice rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was about a street away from being the perfect hotel. What I mean by this is that the street that it is on is not the cleanest or most comfortable street to walk down, but we never felt unsafe or worried. We loved it here so much we have already recommended it to other travellers.

You have a nice hotel with beautiful rooms and we enjoyed the atmosfere. I am preatty sure that the second time we spent in the room 24, I go some fleas on me. THat was not pleasant even the room seemed to be clean.

Nothing to complain about, excellent value for money.

Located not far from the main train station. I found this hotel quiet with friendly staff. Great value for money and they made my bed each day and supplied new towels. Would stay again if in Naples.

The hostel was good, but I booked a room for 4 people and when I arrived had only 3 beds in my room. After asking twice they added a folder bed in my room, which was of course not confy as the others, better saying, not confy at all. I think if I payed for 4 people the same price, should be the same quality. Apart from that was all ok, the staff was friendly but didn´t have a map from the city, so we had to go to the tourism info in the central station. The location is good.

pros:good wifi signal in room, room overall cleanness is fine, five min walk from train terminal, bus terminal cons: staff\'s poor english, hot shower in room didn\'t work at night, had to use the communal bathroom! no kitchen no elevator, so have to lift luggages all the way up the stairs!

Nice and clean themed rooms .Very near the central station, so if you're about to travel around it's the best place, only 5 minuts from central station, The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's only a couple of minutes to the storic center and shopping area. For the money it's definetly a superb option, a really good experience, 30 meters from the supermarkets pizzeria and ristorant

hotel ginerva was a great escape from the dangerous world of crazy scooters outside on the streets of napoli... the room was clean, the lobby area however was a bit smoky from cigarettes, but a towel in front of the door proved to be effective against seepage into the room...

There's a lot of potential here, but not really carried through very well. Especially the "ethnic" room is very cool, but lacking a lot, like towels, trash can, shampoo, A/C controller, etc. The management also is very blunt and pretty unhelpful, didn't seem to have much interest in being hospitable, but you can't ask for much at this price. It's good value, clean, well located, so for practical purposes it works fine!

Parking was not free (as stated in the description) & there was no wifi in the rooms. Some staff were helpful while others were disinterested and could not be bothered. Bathrooms (i.e. showers) were dirty and mouldy but rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel is on the second floor and there is no lift (so be prepared to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs). Credit cards were not accepted (which was contrary to the description on hostel world).

The best thing in Naples was the pizza and then Ginevra. Feels like home because the room is really convenient. We are a female group of four, and we feel safe here in the hostel. The owner and staffs are great, even they have a dog named Kika. So sweet :)
