GREAT. JAK the owner, was so generous - we didn\'t arrive until 1:15am, he met us with a smile and even took the time to go over maps/parking/restaurants with us so late! Location is fantastic on St. Catherine; ate at 5 delicious restaurants within a few minutes walk and it’s extremely quiet so we slept very peacefully. JAK keeps the place immaculately clean. Big windows, very cheerful. We are 2 energetic 23 y/o who were interested in exploring the city/fun/food/beers/sleep - it was perfect!!GREAT. Good location but room was disappointingly small. The ceiling was quite low and you could have easily have had a nasty accident with the fan directly above the bed (which you had to sign a waiver for upon check in). Despite the good location though, it was a bit overpriced for what you were getting. However Jak was friendly, considerate and helpful in giving us information on the best places to visit in Montreal. We stayed 3 nights and didn't have our sheets or towels changed once.Good location but room was disappointingly small. Simply put: The best hostel ive stayed at. It is located in the heart of Montreal on St. Catherine, if you want to go out at night no cabs are needed... most of the good clubs and bars are walking distance away. "Jak", the operator of the hostel is one of the nicest ppl you meet and gives great tips on what to do, eat, see etc. Also, if you get rooms 1 or 2 you get a great balcony to hang out on

I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it! Friendly staff, great location in the middle of downtown and clean room. Especially, staff were eager to give us tips about montreal. We appreciate it! I think it would be better with coffee pot, even though there is starbucks near hostel. I can storngly recommend, if you are looking for quiet but good location!I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it! It was truly unbelievable that for a three night stay, our sheets were never changed, towels not replaced and the suite was never cleaned. For $100/night, one should expect at least some level of service. It was also cumbersome to check in or out as there was no 24 hour check-in and the owner was not readily available by phone. Location is great, but Jak's advice was mediocre and the service level for the money was poor. I've travelled in hostels around the world but was dissapointed here.It was truly unbelievable that for a three night stay, our sheets were never changed, towels not replaced and the suite was never cleaned. Owner of Inn Touriste was extremely helpful and accommodating with late arrival. No details were left out with an overview of the city provided at commencement of stay. Had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Thank you.Owner of Inn Touriste was extremely helpful and accommodating with late arrival.
