Bedding smells foul. Rooms are like a prison

Quite dirty. Pillows and matresses stink of the body odour of many previous guests. Facilities are very basic.

A hotel that does nothing more than you probably need. Its like a prison, has no outside windows, no charm at all. But the breakfast is quite good, has free internet in the lobby area and its clean. Its located nearer the port area which means at night everything is dead '- and reportably not that safe though we had no problems. Ultimatly this is a poor hotel, but we are used to hostel dorms and we got a double room (no hot water, air con or window) for the proce of a dorm so we were happy

This hotel was ok, but not amazing compared to hostels we stayed in throughout our trip in Brazil. The room felt like a cell, but the hot water worked. The location is nice in downtown Manaus, but there's not much to do in Manaus itself (we just went on a jungle trip). A reasonable place to stay while waiting for a jungle tour. The staff gets bonus points for being exceptionally good at charades and not trying to speak to us in Portuguese.
