The hotel is really close to Piccadilly Station in Manchester and it's good linked to the town. The staff is kind and excellent, there's a gorgeous english breakfast as well! Our room was good (we had 106 without bathroom) but there was no closet and no desk or chairs. Anyway was good. Just in the weekend was very noisy cause the discopub on the street was opened til 6am! I'll come back again to the hotel but i'd ask a room not on the street!

Awesome location right across from Piccadilly station. Really cheap rates. Facilities all fine. Can't beat £20 a night each for a private double with cooked breakfast included. Only thing was that the wifi doesn't reach all the rooms but they have areas to sit on each floor to use it.

The hostel was convenient situated in the city centre and next to Piccadilly Station. The hostel has a tired feel but it was functional and clean - these things matter to me more.

The hotel is in a great location and has character but definitely could do with some refurbishment especially with sound proofed windows. The street noise kept us awake for most of the night. We really appreciate the offered room change without us having to ask.

Really liked it, nice old building, good price, not far from centre of town, helpful and friendly staff, breakfast available. Highly recommended.

set right in a fab location, the hotel staff were awefully friendly and more than willing to assist you with any needs (at all). The beds were a little sticky but likely due to the fabric softener. My partner and i thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the acceptance not often given to our kind. Fantastic ass smashings and wish i could come back for another

It was really outstanding for the price that i paid. Even though the toilets and showers were separate and the floors were creaky and squeaky, the rest of the place is very classic and simple. I only use the room to sleep at night as i will be out the whole day. The bed was comfortable and i really like the ambience of the whole hostel. One thing they can work on is the quality of the breakfast. I know the place is cheap to be in but maybe the breakfast could be a little better. 8/10 for me!

We came here when we went to see Alter Bridge and to be honest from outside we weren't expecting much but when we got in I was astounded, great character in this hostel. Walls full of my idols. Only problem was we were in the the room next to the boiler so it was roasting. Great staff and breakfast!

Overall, fine. You gets what you pays for, £30/person en-suite. Cheap & cheerful. Bathroom (room 114) bit of a disaster with broken cheap toilet seat, scalding bath/shower because cold tap didn't work. TV broken, but we didn't stay to watch TV. Staff accommodating. Beds clean, comfy enough. Great for night out in M/CR, directly opposite station. Rave parties under station- take earplugs. Food OK. Needs renovation. Main foyer v. amusing, lots of pictures of famous people who never stayed there

The english breakfast was nice. Given the price for the hotel, the location and breaskfast included was a good deal.
