Fantastic location right opposite Piccadilly rail station with the city centre (Piccadilly Gardens, Market Street) within walking distance. Hearty breakfast provided!

Budget hotel with english breakfast included. I took the train to manchester Piccadilly and the hotel was not difficult to find at all. The hotel must have been a glamourous/fancy hotel 50+ years ago. First impression was good with friendly staff, but when we got to the room - the floor was dirty (no room slipper provided), the bed was too soft, and there was no fridge. For breakfast, the bowls for cereal were all too greasy and dirty to use.

It is a very nice hotel in the centre of Manchester. It is well placed, the staff is very nice and rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is very quiet (important to have a good rest) and it is not very crowdy. I recommend it to everyone!

On the inside, the hostel looks rather old but the interior was nothing short of awesome. The hostel is located right across the Picadilly station and it was a breeze to locate. Rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms and toilets. The free breakfast provided definitely won my friends and I over. The only complaint was our room was pretty near the road hence we could hear drunk people shouting at night but well that can't be helped

Good location, opposite the main train station and in walking distance of all the main areas of Manchester. Good price for the location, room and breakfast. Just be mindful that if you are on the first floor as we were our window was above a bar so was loud when smokers are outside.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was vey good value for money and although I unfortunately I didnt have time for the breakfast and dinner they looked very good value. I would definetly stay there again if I were travelling from Manchester airport.

I had a nice stay. The hotel is nothing fancy but the price is right and so is the location and amazing breakfast. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Manchester.

The bar lounge where we could have a nice time and meet new people is almost always closed and I think its a negative aspect because when we go in a hostel, we expect to meet new people. Except this aspect, the hostel is nice and very well located. Almost all the staff are very friendly. Some of them are a little bit cold but its OK. Keep going

I have stayed at this hostel 3 times and each time has been a completely different experience - it all depends on which room you get given. Some rooms are very small, others are like hotel rooms. I like the character of this place and it is clean enough, however, I got food poisoning off the breakfast and so will not be returning!

Location is great. Hotel has a lot of character. The rooms look old but are ok. Price should be lower because of this. We couldn't close our window so it was noisy. Can be a problem if you are a light sleeper. All round it wasn't a bad stay.

They said that they are have Wifi, but no Wifi service provided. so that I cannot make some important connection through internet, they said that it is not their contro but doing nothing to emerency repair unitl I check out. The room TV channel is limited, room size too small, no heater. The breakfast coffee can't drink.

Other than noise at night time (though it was expected as it was MCR Pride weekend), and slightly undercooked egg on the breakfast, we had an amazing stay!
