This was an okay hostel, but the service was not there. We were told we couldn't sit down in the lobby and use the wifi at night and when we came back after midnight it seemed like we weren't allowed to be doing that because the guy was sleeping and seemed annoyed when he opened the door..? So don't lock the door then....it was strange. The room was decent and right on the water which was awesome!! The location was terribly difficult to find the directions were bad on the site.

It is the worst hostel I have ever been to. It posts false advertisement on the web, claiming that the fee includes all the taxes. But upon arrival, it still charged us 2 euro per person per day! One of the receptionist is unfriendly and impatient. And the hostel lack many basic equipment a hostel should have, causing much inconvenience for us. The value for money is very poor. I will never ever choose it anymore!

We stayed for 2 nights, I would summarise this as completely over priced. We didn't have hot water in the shower for either night and there was no discount on the room. Wifi was only available in the lobby not in the room.

The hotel is fairly close to the train station and is a short walk to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. The area is quiet, which I really liked. The room was very, very hot but better to be too hot than two cold. The beds were not very comfortable, but the room was big for a Venetian hotel. The staff was very friendly. I'd stay again.
