The hotel is clean, location is good. Staff is not very friendly. Though they have a breakfast room but the breakfast is not served there. You get a coupon and walk 5 minutes to a small café to get your very poor continental breakfast. The café staff is very unfriendly.

I've stay in two different rooms during the two days I spend there, and the room 101 is really poor. The next one was awesome! The breakfast could be improved. In general, it was quite good and all the staff was very nice and helpful. I strongly recommend this place.

Is already not easy to get your way around Venice and the indication to how to found the hotel didn't make it anytime easier. The free breakfast ended up to be a free coffee and croissant from a not-so-nearby bar in Campo St. Margherita. We booked a shared bathroom room so we knew what we were going to get, or so we tought! We received a room with private bathroom but no shower, to have a shower instead we had to go to another floor and use a shower in the main corridor... Will not go back.

The room/bathroom were very small, but very clean and adequate considering it was inexpensive. Location was great, near many excellent restaurants and bars. 24 hour reception was a plus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The only downfall was that it is hard to find at first for someone new to Venice. Directions should have said to take a vaparetto (water bus) to the S. Toma stop, as it is about a 1 minute walk from that stop.

No hot water on the entire first floor. Free wifi but not sure it was worth it. The front desk didn't seem to have a plan for no hot water - didn't get fixed til the morning.

I was expecting a very nice hotel but I found Hotel Iris and its facilities worst as compare to the amount I have paid. The hotel room does not have a single dust bin, bed spread has burned holes, not even paid internet facility inside room. No organized breakfast facility. They kept changing breakfast venue. Most importantly, the front desk officer Mr. Anwar does not have a professional attitude.
