Wifi didn't basically work at all. Staff had a weird but fun sense of humor. Room was ok. Restaurants near the hotel caused quite a bit of noise which made sleeping hard.

The rooms were good and the air conditioning worked well. There was no wifi in the rooms but only in the lobby. The staff was a little rude to us making a few rude remarks about our being American. The staff also was telling people staying there to "watch out" for people in a room which I thought was ridiculous.

Don't bother . Yes it was heap and yes the location was good but not worth saving £20 on somewhere decent. Ants on floor, mould in room, air con didn't work, tripped and stained sheets and broken shower. We left early and had to find somewhere else. Staff really couldn't be bothered to do anything about or complaints. Claimed there were no other available rooms yet were able to book two families in last minute later that night whilst we we're sat in the lobby....

DO NOT STAY HERE! Words cannot express how angry I am for actually paying to stay at hotel Iris. If there would have been any other options in Venice, I would have left. It is obvious from the state of the hotel that they haven't replaced so much as a screw since the hotel opened. The staff said the air conditioning was "broken" which was a lie, since there were no air conditioning ducts or window units anywhere to be found, and they were rude. One of the toilet showers was leaking sewage.

The room was dirty and the they did not have AC. The staff was not helpful at all. The location is awesome though.

They have problem with credit card paying. They charge €1 per paper while other hotels printed it for me free. Otherwise the room is value for the money and stuffs are friendly.

Room was below average for what I paid. Ants were all over the floor and bed during our stay and we were bitten up the whole time. AC went out and was given a fan that did not keep the room cool. Staff really didn't care that the AC was broken. Sleeping with how hot it was the last two nights was unbearable. Lesson learned is to stay at a 3 star hotel and pay a little more.

Good location for the budget conscious! It's a simple hotel that works. Security code needed folate hours entries, or they usually has a night attendant. Very quick walk from the San Lucia train station.

The wifi in room didn't work. Everyone had to stay in the hall for the connection. It was not so easy to find out this hotel even after asking some local residents for the way. It seems that people in Venise are not used to remember the street names.
