I loved Islaverde!! It was one of my favorite places I stayed at Lago Atitlan. Very clean, relaxing, helpful staff, not to mention the food. In addition, they've made the property feel like a mini paradise. I would whole heartedly recommend Islaverde to anyone heading to the Lake.

This hotel is perfect. We came hear to relax in the midst of a hectic travelling schedule, and it was just what we needed. Food: amazing. Staff: friendly & helpful. Vibe: uber-relaxed and chilled. Setting: simply perfect. The best thing is that because it's isolated, there isn't any pressure to DO anything (eg. day-trips, walking around, whatever..), so you can feel perfectly comfortable & happy just reading, swimming, eating & drinking!
