The staff at hotel italia were very helpful and spoke english well. The room was small but very clean and modern. there is a parking garage within walking distance of the hotel which was very convenient. The breakfast was typical for germany but I feel they should add some croissants to the selection of breads.

Staff were really excellent - very friendly with good advice. Room was spacious and pretty clean. Good value for the money especially when you factor in the free breakfast . The only issue was that wifi reception was terrible - because the in room router was missing an electrical cord and never fixed.

Good breakfast, friendly staff and generally quite nice. However once we got into the room we were disappointed to smell that it was a smoking room. Would appreciate if for future customers there could be an option to pick non-smoking room when booking, as this really was an unwelcome surprise...
