My experience at Hotel Jorgensen was awful. Despite the fact that we had to leave the hotel for five hours during the day for cleaning, the hotel did not seem to be any cleaner than when we had first left. Beds and bathrooms were not clean. As a female on her own, I did not feel safe. An older man forced himself into my room and asked that he come in to spend the night with me. Although I managed to get him out and lock the door, there was nothing further I could do. I checked out early.

Staff not that friendly, guests don't feel welcome. I am a tourism major who pays close atetion to details and that's clearly not a way to treat a customer. Only one key per room for a 10 bed room, please make more!

This is not like a youth hostel but just a cheap hotel, so don't expect meeting lots of people and spending joyful time together in a common room. However it's a very quiet place just neat metro and S-train station, so the location is perfect and the place is ideal for those who just want to have a proper sleep. Since I was leaving early the night receptionist forgot to prepare breakfast for me, what we actually agreed upon, but never mind, we all want to sleep at night, even at work =)

Definitely one of the more inexpensive options in Copenhagen, it's fine as a place to sleep and the free breakfast is really quite good. In terms of facilities, bed quality, social areas, lockers, showers, etc... it's not the nicest. So, long story short: On a strict budget? Check it out for sure. Have bit more to spend on accommodations? Maybe somewhere else. There are no dealbreaker issues though.

The staff was ok, the breakfast was nice. But I was in room number 1 and there were no windows in the hallway or any air refreshing system in the shower and toilet I had the feeling. It was stinking in the hallway and especially in our room. Furthermore, the bedlinen we rented must be 30 years old because the color is totally washed out and the fabric has holes everywhere because it has been used so often already. This synthetic bedlinen made us sweat all the time as well, horrible.

The Hotel vas very well located in the city centre. It's about only 20 minutes from the central railway station, we can explore most of the city sights by foot. The Hotel has a really youthful and familiar atmosphere. We have a 4 bed's dorm room in the basement. The staff were very friendly, and very helpful. The breakfast was very delicious and you can find and taste some example about the danish fineness. I think the Hotel's price-value rate is the best in Copenhagen,I can recommend everyone

The hostel is the basement of the hotel. The price per night is good for CPH and location too. But do not expect any help or extras. You pay, you stay and that's all you have (+American Breakfast). Staff is pretty cold and anything is to rent, from bedlinen (33DKK) to locks (25DKK) in a dirty security room (dirty common showers too) . DO NOT FORGET YOUR LOCK !

Our room had an unpleasant smell of fust which we were unable to get rid of. The bunk beds were very old themselves. You have to pay additional money to get the sheets for bed. There was a basement part with a common room (pool, table soccer) but it was too cold to stay there. Hostel is located nearby the city center, just a few minutes walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. Overall, the price they charge for one night is excessive when I consider the services.

Actually its kind of nice hostel for that money.. My favorite part was breakfast! Absolutely great..and in such expensive city really means a lot. Should notice that you need your own padlock and your own bedclothes! Rooms are usually small and in the basement, but still.. I could recommend it.

The location was great, easily walk to most attractions. However we got our key each day without any sort identification which was a little worrisome. The breakfast (included) was also excellent. The shower wasn't so good, only medium heat (cant adjust it) and no lock on the door. It is also in the basement, which was freezing. I would have also like more tourist information to be provided, such as maps. The staff was friendly though and the stay was good.

For a weekend in Copenhagen and with no great comfort need, this Hotel and Hostel can manage a good stay. There is of course a lot of noise in the weekend from inside and outside because of the good location in the centre of the city, but you are always close to a bus ore metro and a walk in the city. My minus is the bad lugageroom in the basement a My plus is the free wifi at any time. Would I do it again, Maybe ;) Greetings to all travelers

It is a decent place to stay if you are not fussy and very centrally located. Breakfast is fantastic. Internet works fine. I stayed in the room 6 with 8 beds. Wifi was working even in the basement in that room. The only negative thing was that I always had to ask two inconsiderate and selfish american girls to switch off the TV at 12-12.30 at night. The management must always make it clear on check-in that the policy of 'nocturnal silence' is from 11 to 6 am, and everybody must respect that.

The dormitory room is too small for 4 people. And the bunk beds are small. There was no proper hot water for shower.

The place gets cleaned but it doesn't really look clean. The showers are small and smell musty with exposed pipes above your head. The rooms are small with small lockers so its hard to fit 4 luggage bags on the floor with a massive ladder & fan (you need this as it gets so stuffy in the room at night) taking up space too. The pillows are not pillows anymore, the mattress dirty & the blankets need replacing too. My travel buddy got rashes from the beds. The linen we rented was old with holes too.

Looking for a cheap hostel in the town center for one night in Copenhagen, I cannot say that I was disappointed. The dorms are simple but clean enough, and the minimum for hygiene is here too, a few showers and toilets, although they weren't exactly clean all the time. Breakfast buffet is included, which makes this hostel even more of a bargain. Security could be improved, I wasn't asked for an ID to get the keys at 3am and the locker room looks slightly "ghetto".

This hostel is fine for a short stay. Whilst the staff aren't the most friendly in the world they were still helpful when we asked them questions and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfy enough and free breakfast was a bonus. Good if you want something cheap in Copenhagen with just a bed to sleep in.

The hostel is in the lower floors of the hotel, which is a little confusing at first but you soon get used to it. Although nothing bad actually happened, I was quite nervous in leaving my rucksack in the basement storage area as I would have preferred to have locker in the actual dorm room. It was ideally located and central to the city and the staff all seemed happy and spoke several languages. Considering that Copenhagen is generally expensive I feel that this hostel was a bargain find.
