Nicely decorated a kitchen was a surprise, good breakfast, good location.

There is no elevator or lift in this hotel

Loved our stay, our room (42) was just perfect.. very clean and nicely decorated. The robes and packs of sweets were a nice surprise. Also, we liked the fact that there was free Wifi, this was very helpful when contacting our friends who were staying elsewhere in Amsterdam. I think I overcome my fear of lifts too! No complaints here – Kate & Tony, Liverpool

So surprised when we stayed here as we weren't expecting much , our room was honestly amazing had the very top floor two huge double beds (so comfy) nice flat screen TV and amazing and modern bathroom. Located near everything but just far enough out that you get a good nights sleep. Amazing value and would definatly stay here again without hesitation and recommend to anyone. Met a few backpackers on the strip and this was cheaper than their mixed dorm so deffo worth every penny.

Like others we found the staff to be a bit short, but it didn't really detract from the overall service. Breakfast was a standard continental. The only things we weren't keen on was the lack of air-conditioning in the room (It was 36 degrees outside, and hotter in!) and the fact that the shower door didn't close properly. Again, by in large these didn't detract from the experience. The welcome guide they give you is an amazing resource, and I wish more places did it!

Our hotel manager was very rude upon arrival, but straightened out near the end of the trip. He also gave us the wrong room and we had to say something the next day so we could change rooms. Also, the rooms were VERY warm in July with no air conditioning. Other than that, a pleasant hotel.
