I enjoyed my stay here and thought the views from the Roof Garden of the Taj Mahal were good. The staff were welcoming and the only drawback were the number of monkeys nearby.

One of the workers was extremely helpful and gave great advice on some prices for shopping. I asked around and what he said was completely accurate. The location is great, but other places have rooftop restaurants, so if you want cheaper go somewhere else, otherwise this place is good enough. It was basic and clean for the most part. The restaurant is expensive. I would stay again if I didn't find anything cheaper. It was still a nice place though. Had 24 hour hot shower which was a plus.

The only pro is the great location, you can see the Taj Mahal (great view) on the roof top.

They simply closed the door and did not wait for us. I reconfirmed the day before and informed about our late arrival. The flight was delayed, but we still came... Just to stand for 40 minutes outside the closed gate... The phone given on HW never answered, there was no doorbell at the gate and we made much noise knoking, but in vane. Thank our good karma), there was a great hotel nearby, the Raj hotel, where reception was 24 hours (there is a night manager) and they helped us a lot there...

The location is the best part. You can't beat the view from the rooftop. The place is very close to the southern gate. On the other hand, the rooms are below average and very-very cold. The bathroom was clean. There was only one connector in our room, and the power was down for half days. (Although i guess it's not the hotel's fault, it was down in the whole neighbourhoud.) The staff was not very friendly.

Great location, minutes walking to West and South entrances to Taj Mahal. The rooftop restaurant is great (views and food). Staff were helpful. Not much to do in Agra though, Agra Fort is ok but Fathepur Sikri is definitely worth it (ask the hotel to get you a driver for the day).

The view from the roof terrace is nice and that's about it. My room wasn't particularly clean and at night time it would be really cold in there. Hot water wouldn't always work properly. There is no atmosphere of meeting other travellers like in a hostel.

Great guesthouse to stay at in jaipur. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a decent rooftop restaurant.

-ive. The hostel offered little sound proofing, as the ventilation gaps also allowed noises and insects in. The room was not as clean - small carpet on the floor had not been dusted or cleaned and had a lot of dirt and hair stuck in. When we shifted the small bedside table, the floor was filthy with dust, hair and dirt.+ive: Owner was quick to feedback to the cooks when our food was not cooked properly. Auto rickshaw driver Aismal brilliant. Location so good for early Taj visit.

Had premium room, would like more housekeeping service. Rooms have no security safe. Great location bring mosquito repellent for dusk rooftop TAJ viewing and restaurant. Several better quality restaurants within short walking distance but Hotel Kamal has best Taj rooftop view.

We first had a room with mold, but we could change it without any problems and got a better room. Very close to the Taj

Great location, walking distance to the Taj Mahal. Staff were very friendly and nice. We stayed during a very noisy Muslim festival but there was little the staff could do about it.

Nice basic hostel with an excellent rooftop from where you can have drinks, lunch, diner while looking straight at the Taj. I think the best rooftop Taj-wise. Look out for the monkeys running around. Service at the rooftop is too slow in my opinion. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly. Location is perfect, only 5 min walk to the South Gate.

If you go to visit Taj Mahal, do it on a day trip from Delhi or look for accommodation in eg Fatehpur Sikri. Agra is so polluted, full of garbage and the people in the street incredibly aggressive selling souvenirs and rikscha rides. Our room hat windows to a hallway and not to the outside. It took us our last breath. We left Agra without visiting the Taj Mahal, we just wanted to get out of this town.
