Despite being very close to the station, the poor description provided made it difficult to locate the hotel. Place was quite clean and the staff were friendly.

My only complaint, i wasn't asked if i wanted a smokers room but got one anyway, and my god it stank up all my clothes. I didn't have the Japanese skills to complain.

Friendly, clean, enough room, very nice that they let us stow our luggage given the inconvenience of the bullet train vs. local lines that Kobe imposes on the traveler.

Got a non-smoking room by putting (N.S.) in my name when reserving. Nice to have a TV, wireless internet, private shower, and coin laundry. Near Kobe station, so we could jump on the train quickly in the morning. Too bad Sannomiya is the main station in Kobe though. We got lucky with laundry, since there\'s only one washer and one dryer. Got there as someone was finishing, and someone else showed up when we were done. Good curtains, soft beds, working AC.

The hotel is located 2 minutes on foot from the JR Kobe station, great if you're planning on doing a lot of sightseeing or train-taking. The view isn't great, as it's located in a rather narrow street, but our room was facing the front of the Hotel. Maybe the view from other rooms would be better. It's a very clean joint, although I cannot comment on the hotel restaurant (didn't use it). We had no issues whatsoever with security. Level of English, though, was very poor, unfortunately.

Air conditioning was almost non-existant. Staff were very helpful.
