About Hotel Kouraku
Hotel Koraku is in the Beppu Onsen (hot spring)resort and is just 10min walk or 4min by car from JR Beppu-eki Station. Beppu has long been one of the most popular places in Japan for hot spring resorts. Our onsen (hot spring) contains minerals that are effective for everyone! Soak in our roten-buro (outdoor bath) and experience its comfort.

As we are in the heart of Beppu, we are close to sightseeing venues and shopping centers. Our guest house is also wheelchair friendly. All rooms are with toilet, but without shower facilities.

Onsen bathing tax is not included in the rates shown on the booking service web site.
Facilities include 2 banquet rooms, a large public bath, an outdoor bath, souvenir shops, parking lot,and lobby for guests to relax. A large public bath, an outdoor bath. (Bathing tax: 150yen per person)
Nature of the water in hot spring: Carbonic acid hydrogen. Effective especially for skin disease, muscular pain, joint aches, neuralgia etc.
We recommend that you take the Jigoku tour (20min drive), visit Jojima Amusement Park (20min drive), Yufukawa Canyon (30min drive) and Itogahama Beach (25min drive) while you are here! Beppu Onsen Village has many spots where you can experience various kinds of hot springs!
By Train:
Either a 10 minute walk or 4 minute by car from JR Beppu Station. Walk East toward the national road #10 from the Beppu station exit. Take left at a department store (called Tokiha) and walk 2 blocks and take right at a corner after Kamenoi Bus Center. We are located one block away from the corner.
By Car:
About 15mins drive from Oita-do Beppu Interchange.
