Arrived very early, but there was someone to welcome us. Really nice view over the town, just behind the city palace, perfect location.

This is a super place, great location in the old part of Udaipur and set away from any city noise, one could almost be in the countryside. Sitting in the garden for breakfast listening to bird song is cool. The staff are super and very helpful and knowledgable. The only thing I would say is the place is a little run down and some things are neglected. We didn\'t feel fully confident to eat here due to this. Saying that, the rooms were perfectly clean and nice.

Hotel Kumba Palace is located up a long walkway from a very busy street. Despite the noise of the street, the hotel is quiet and also has a wonderful garden which backs on to the City Palace wall. The owner is very eager to pleases and the staff are very polite. I found the rooftop cafe very nice. I spent several afternoons sitting in the peace of the garden just relaxing and reading, after a busy or noisy morning in Udaipur.

Nice hotel with clean rooms close to the palace (10 min walk). Free pickup from bus/train station. It\'s a quiet, laid back place and the food is good. Solar hot water (worked for us). They have a nice garden. No wifi but internet is available on one computer in the lobby.

A pretty and clean hotel for a good price. The owners are working with a lot of enthusiasm and this also has “infected” the staff. Service has been the fastest and best I've seen in India. The restaurant offered very tasty food. It is a pity that there are also things the owners have no influence on. The location at the backside of city palace could be wonderful, but it is very noisy - from a disco sometimes until late in the night, to the temple starting with loud music already before sunrise.

The Kumha hotel impressed me with very warm atmosphere and helpful stuff. Francine helped us with orientation in the city, with ticket reservation and other small things. Location of the hotel is very close to the Jagdish Temple, just 5min walking distance and has nice garden and view o
