Kitsch and cool, and 1Euro for half a litre of beer is not at all bad! The hotel is only a few mins away on foot from the old town, and next to a Tesco so ideally placed. Nice and 70's stylish hotel. You steel can feel the atmosphere of the old socialist republic. Maybe it's not the most clean and renewed place but I think having single room with bath, those views over the city and the very good buffet breakfast for that price is a luxury. Highly recommend this place! Has an interior that brings you right back to the communist days. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. When we asked them where we could get breakfast the next morning at 5am(we were heading to see the sunrise at Devin Castle) they offered to pack a breakfast for us to take with us. So right as they said, at 515 am the next morning two bags of breakfast were waiting for us at reception. Really wonderful place to stay. Great location and price. Highly recommend this place!
